Very true. And a lot of people/friends in my high school weren't fans after this because it was "too far" and she was called a lesbian with HIV. Yes, I was there. Bring me back to 1992!

But there is Blanche, there is a Madonna 101 Class. In 1997, the University of Amsterdam introduced the course Madonna the Phenomenon. It's so weird to see gays react to Madonna now. I am 47, I was a senior in high school when this came out. It was banned from MTV and she sold it as a VHS cassette single and made a fortune. There was no one more famous than her. Forget GAGA, Beyonce, Ariana, none of them have that level of fame Madonna had. She was on every magazine cover and MTV did Madonna weekends. She had every gay in her pocket. No one else was putting gay men in their videos and tours like she was. Gays have a choice now of who they follow. We didn't need a choice. Madonna was it and we were happy to follow her.
I have been in love with Madonna almost my whole life. ( I’m 43) when this came out I was 13ish. I remember being blown away by this video. I’ve never seen so much of anyone. Lol. Madonna will always be my Queen. She didn’t play by anyone’s rules and wanted you too feel uncomfortable and push the envelope. I admire her for that. I’m so glad you all explored this. Btw Lenny Kravitz co wrote this and does the background vocals. I hope you do more reaction videos like this guys. I love you both!
I remember the night when this first aired.... I was at a busy packed gay club and everything came to a complete halt to show the video. In those days there was no You Tube and MTV had banned it. Madonna had been further and further pushing the boundaries, opening doors of conversation, speaking up for and defending the gay community regardless of consequence. This at a time when hundreds of thousands of us were dying of AIDS while being largely discarded by our government and straight counterparts. That night we cheered and gave Madonna a well deserved standing ovation. She's says in the video " Poor is the man whose pleasure depend on the permission of another."
The video did not air because it was banned by MTv, which caused Madonna to release it on VHS as a single and it sold like hotcakes, lol. I was nineteen at the time and ran and purchases my copy as she was my Diva back in the day.
Madonna (USA, b. Madonna Ciccone) has sold more than 300 million albums in her career since debuting with her self-titled release in 1983. is the best female selling artist of all time by billboard and... madonna is the highest-grossing solo tour artist ever ! queen of pop
Some info on the controversy of this song, taken from Wikipedia: The video was deemed too sexually explicit for MTV and was banned from the network. Madonna responded to the banning: "Why is it that people are willing to go and watch a movie about someone getting blown to bits for no reason at all, and nobody wants to see two girls kissing and two men snuggling?" On December 3, 1990, ABC's Nightline played the video in its entirety, then interviewed Madonna live about the video's sexual content and censorship. When asked whether she stood to make more money selling the video than airing it on MTV, she appeared impatient and answered, "Yeah, so? Lucky me." She also expressed during the interview that she did not understand why MTV banned the video yet allowed videos that contained violence and degradation to women to continue receiving regular airplay. The video was then released in VHS, and became a bestselling "video single".
How couldn't be a fan? 13 years old , Latin, living on the other side of the world, almost like an offender for being gay in Latin America, you could get beaten up every day for being gay bi or whatever and suddenly she comes out and talks about sexual freedom... All popstars are gay friendly nowadays cause it's politically correct but back in the days she took a huge risk. The one and only: Madonna.
This video was banned by MTV and was the first video single ever released. If you doing Madonna you should do Erotica (uncensored version) , Like a Virgin (Blonde Ambition Verson) American Life (uncensored), Like a Prayer, Papa Don't Preach, Open your Heart …………… all today's female artists can be traced directly back to Madonna. Yes you are right, Madonna did this stuff in the mainstream media and was perhaps the most controversial artist of the 80's. It's difficult to imagine today the reaction and fame that she had. She was also one of the few mainstream artists to stand by the gay community and champion our rights. This was at a time when there were no out gay stars, everyone was closeted and Madonna went on national television pretending to be a lesbian.
The video for Justify My Love was one of the biggest controversies in Madonna’s career, which is saying a lot. Because the video was banned from MTV, Madonna decided to sell it as a video single for $9.98. It was the first-ever video single and sold over a million copies.
@@juaneduardotarzia6650 Finally someone linked the correct version ! If you wanna see what Erotica video is all about you need to see the uncensored version.
Jan= Holiday or Lucky Star Jacky Cox= Like a Virgin Gigi= Papa don´t preach Brita= Express Yourself Jaida Essence Hall= Justify My Love Sherry Pie= Evita (movie) Crystal Methyd= Ray of Light Widow= Music Heidi= Bitch I´m Madonna
This was premiered globally on mtv then when it was about music ...i remember waiting till midnight to watch it from australia ...due to time change from the US!!!
Back in the 80s there were video bars, especially gay video bars. Although banned on MTV, every gay bar in the country was showing it. The trade in the video is Tony Ward, who dated Madonna for awhile and starred in Bruce La Bruce’s “Hustler White”.
Love hearing you say she invented “Sex” because literally what came next was her coffee table book “SEX” and the Erotica album. Madonna actually wrote the book on SEX.
I remember when this video came out in 1990 it caused so much controversy, until that moment no other artist or band in history had homosexuality as part of their work. After this she went even deeper with her Sex book and the Erotica album. It would be great to have your oppinion guys, check the Erotica video (1992) if you liked this youll probably like Erotica 😉✨
I remember when this came out, it was immediately banned by MTV, so very quickly Madonna marketed it on VHS. Of course I got one and loved the sexual nature and gender-bending it showed. Madonna to a closeted gay man, told us that we did have a right to be visible. It was so different in the 80’s and even 90’s compared to today. We as a gay community owe her a debt of gratitude for pushing society to get through and over their homophobia. Without her, we wouldn’t be where we are today. ❌❤️🔥🎤
No, you're confusing this with Erotica which was aired THREE times only in the US. JML was properly BANNED. Not in Europe though...where both videos were played.
OK guys, so the references are: Jan - Madonna/First Album, 1983 - Lucky Star music video Jackie Cox - Like a Virgin era, 1984 - Like A Virgin VMA live performance Gigi Goode - True Blue album, 1986 - Papa Don't Preach music video, 1986 Brita - Express Yourself (from Madonna's 1989 album 'Like A Prayer) live performance from the Blond Ambition tour, 1990 Jaida - Justify my Love music video, 1990 Sherrie Pie - Evita movie/Don't Cry For Me Argentina music video, 1996, with some references in the lyrics to some of Madonna's movies: Desperately Seeking Susan, 1984; Who's That Girl, 1987; Shanghai Surprise, 1987; Dick Tracy, 1990; A League Of Their Own, 1992 [here I really missed something from the Bedtime Stories album of 1994, maybe Take A Bow or Human Nature] Crystal Methyd - Ray of Light music video, 1998 Widow Von'Du - Music music video from the Music album, 2000 [here I really missed the Confessions era] Heidi N Closet - Bitch I'm Madonna from the Rebel Heart album, 2015 There are many Madonna videos or live performances to react to, I'd love to see you reacting to Express Yourself, Bad Girl, Human Nature, Frozen, American Life (Director's cut), Take A Bow, Oh Father and many more... That shadow dancer is none other than Jose Gutierrez from the House of Extravaganza. Jose Extravaganza. He is on POSE and helped Madonna catapult Vogue into mainstream.
Please do more Madonna reactions!! She has SOOOO many good visuals and sounds and I love your reaction videos already, so it would give me ALL the life hunty! Lol keep making awesome content!
I worked in the video store when this came out. It was on sale for $9.95 and we sold all our copies in two days. Here’s a little trivia. Madonna had a contract with Pepsi that was cancelled because of her controversial at the time Like A Prayer video. The commercial on aired only once but you should be able to find it online somewhere.
OMG YOU DID IT The video was banned, then only played after 10 pm. The song was super popular though. Y'all should do a series reacting to her videos. I'd suggest her Vogue from the 1990 Vmas if you've never seen it. It'll blow your mind, I swear.
Oh you have so much to see on your way to the Church of Madonna. And yes every female popstar now has M to thank. More Madonna reactions please. Vogue, Express Yourself, Human Nature, Erotica uncensored, Ray of Light, Open Your Heart, Secret, Don’t Tell Me
Love you boys for this! I was 9 when this all came out (along with Vogue) and as a young gay kid, you can't imagine how special it felt. She was the only artist that made us feel seen. I hope you review some of her live performances, because that's where she shines best. I also love that Drag Race brought you here, we LOVE Drag Race. Living in NYC, I've known Peppermint and Bianca for many years, and they are incredible people. Keep your Madonna journey going and shine your light!
This video did air on MTV but it originally aired on a news show called Niteline. She was also interviewed and she defended herself gracefully but quipped that she got the last laugh by cashing in with the video being a best seller. You can see the Niteline clip here on YT.
So I was a baby queer in college when this came out (slightly after when I came out) and it was SUCH an amazing time to have her speaking out on sexuality, sexual orientation, gender, so much. She definitely made a huge impression on me and for my own self-acceptance. She was thrilling to see pushing the conversation in a repressive time.
@@ceha9517 well, headed that way. it very much depends on where you live now tho. I live in New England, and it doesn't feel more repressive. that could change of course.
When the video was aired, I was watching TV with my mum. Then had to leave the living room after the 1st minute... lmfao. This was very very very avant garde back then and I was a teen.
oooh please do more madonna reactions :) this could be the start of a whole series ... like one madonna reaction per week :) it would take like 2 years though, but why not ^^ it would be a beautiful journey following you discovering her :) from Everybody in 1982 till Batuka from 2019 :)
Hello gorgeous! New subscriber here. From Argentina. Loved this Reaction! This video was so controversial at that time (1990) that it was banned from MTV. The whole world went crazy. The media really gave her a hard time, saying she was showing women as sexual objects. Madonna explained that she was being a feminist because she was empowering women saying "be proud of your sexuality and own it. And don't repress your desires". And it was a gay anthem. It was gender bending and openly bisexual. Easily one of the most important and boundary breaking music videos in pop culture. This song is about two people sharing a sexual fantasy (you can see that at the end when she leaves it was just the two of them in the room) and it's about being honest and open with your partner about who you are, about what you desire. The line "poor is the man whose pleasures depend on the permission of another" means that you can´t be who you really are if you have to repress your desires because they´re not approved by someone else. And you can never be free if you can´t be yourself. Now, you MUST react to "Erotica" and then "Human Nature". You MUST.
Justify My Love was one of 3 Madonna videos MTV banned with the other 2 being Erotica and What It Feels Like For A Girl. Well technically the later 2 were not banned but only shown after 10 pm . Vogue was nearly banned because of the lace blouse she wears in the beginning of the video but since no nipple was seen it was allowed to air. I think you guys should react to her Bad Girl video. I think it is one of her greatest.
It was banned on mtv. She released it as a video single. The first video single ever. It was also featured late on a tv show night line. Video plus interview. This was massively controversial in 1990. The man in the video is tony ward her then boyfriend.
4:33 it didn't air. Even MTV banned it until late night after 12. I remember it well, my sister and I would stay up at 12 and 13 yrs. Great memories from my teenage. They also sold it in VHS which I bought in the late 90s
I had my Dad buy me this VHS single in 1990 when I was 12, lol. I told him it had a parental advisory sticker on it only because the cover was sexy. Ya, I lied, but I got it! 🤩 My parents were pissed off once they caught wind of it. Oh well, they got used to it. Then I had my Dad buy me her Sex book for my 15th birthday. He knew if he didn't, I'd find someone to get it for me. They didn't care anymore by that point, lol.
to answer your question - it did air on MTV and got so many complains that they took it off air and we had to buy it on VHS (which I still keep) - it was the first VHS music single. It was also played on MTV for many years but only after midnight.
Justify My Love was banned from MTV and other TV networks. It was aired once on ABC News Nightline. I saw Madonna here in Toronto on her Blonde Ambition tour. There were police waiting in the wings to arrest her if she did "certain things" during Like a Virgin. Prompting Madonna to say in the media (and in Truth or Dare) "The fascist state of Toronto." If you are shocked by this video you should look at Madonna's book SEX - if you haven't already. Luv you guys. I watch all your videos.
Ya'll need to watch and react to: Vogue Sooner or Later Human Nature Frozen Nothing Really Matters Express Yourself Live to Tell Papa Don't Reach Burning Up Ray of Light Like a Virgin Take a Bow You'll See I remember Don't Tell Me Music Cherish Deeper and Deeper Open your heart to me Die another day Secret and more!!! This is my Madonna I grew up with her she is the original she was way before Gaga or Beyonce she is the one who got video band cause she went beyond all others she is the 👑 Queen
Justify my love for you was the most controversial video Madonna had done well at least one of them! It was BAND on all music video stations and released as a VHS single. She also had a book made called "Erotica" it was very controversial and full of nudity with artistic pictures of her and other's it flew of the shelves! People can say many things about Madonna but in her time over 30 plus years ago she was breaking barriers and pushing the way for the new artist today. As a fan of hers since I was 15 years old I have seen Madonna go through many transformations, she truly was the artist at changing her looks! She was strong voice during the Aids epidemic as she lost so many of her friends and dancers to the diseases. Some of the dancers you see in her video's you are watching have passed on, they are to be remembered forever as they helped make Madonna as well!
Just know this; she released this at the peak of her career - after Vogue and Blond Ambition Tour - and during the peak of AIDS crisis in a homophobic conservative America . Not many major artists were sticking their heads out for LGBTQ+ , so few artists were associating their art with the pandemic and its victims . Now we watch it as a classic , because it is.. and everything it symbolizes is such a great record of those times .. Respect legends
It is good that you are doing your home werk. Madonna an Rupual started out in NYC at similar times. The Deeper and Deeper video has cameo appearances from some major drag queens as well as a homage to Edie Sedgwick. Keep on learning!!
Love y’all! Best quote “Madonna invented sex!” This was like how I knew I wasn’t alone in the world. It was viewed as porn so, 9th grade me found this shit and would sneak and watch! Then I was on the football team and we had a woman less pageant. (My high school was a small southern baptist high school) I performed Justify My Love in drag at the womanless pageant. I got in so much trouble.
I grew up with Madonna. There was another music channel called The Box that you called in videos. This was all over it in the days before TH-cam. She deserves all the love she gets. Its real.
I really don't know if I cry or laught after earing this couple not knowing Madonna's earlier contributions to LGBT rights. Sugestions: Madonna's Erotica music video, Sex photo book, The Girlie Show Tour's Deeper and Deeper performance
It was banned from MTV, so Madonna released it on VHS. The first video single in history. And it went number one in the Hot 100 as a result. I think it was her ninth number one single in the US.
Thanks for doing all Madonna songs and not just the present. As you are MEGA Ru/Michelle Fans, to truly appreciate her you have to know her. Love the reaction videos.
🤣🤣🤣 love that you reacted to this!!! This was SCANDELOUS when it came out! It was on MTV for the preview but then was banned. This, she gave teen me lyfe!!!! I watched with all my friends and we were 😵🤯....also felt like badies because we saw it. It was all they talked about in school the next day 🤣🤣🤣
Loved this reaction, I’d love to see more Madonna reactions. Love that it was inspired by the rusical. That was awesome, as a massive Madonna fan they got it spot on and Gigi Goode served it!
Madonna went through a phase of controversial explicit 'sex' songs for a period of time in the 1990s. Including a sex book. This is from that era. Erotica is another.
Thanks guys you are so love ly IAM A BIG madonna fan And I LOVÉ this video a Masterpiece the SONG IS GRÉÂT THE QUEEN OF POP THE QUEEN OF LOVE 👑👑❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just subscribed on your channel, purely for reviewing ( and appreciating) Madonna for what she did for all the female artists that came after her years later. I feel really old now since the next generation apparently isn't aware of her 'Black Era' that started with 1990's Justify My Love and Rescue Me and her 1992 Erotica album. She ended this Black Era ( black as in kinky leather/ latex) with 1994's Bed Time Stories. If you guys are interested enough to check out these singles and albums..2 thumbs up LOL
By the way, overhere in The Netherlands it was on MTV, and yes also on the radio..my mother wasn't exactly thrilled when it was played on the radio ( I was 11 years old) and for Justify My Love I secretly listened to the song and I went behind my mom's back to buy Erotica and keeping it away from her sight. I dropped the bomb by performing a lip sync performance of Erotica at a local lipsync contest at age 14...can you imagine a 14 year old boy crawling over a stage? My mom was stunned and only said to me afterwards " You have great legs.." So yeah, Madonna was controversial but also did it with class. Artists like Mariah Carey, Britney, and RnB hoes of the early 2000's did it, but more slutty and less erotic and sensual. Just wanted to share this with you guys
In Canada Much Music used to play it only for special events, like where they would have an audience who would discuss it after. They might have shown it in a top 10 countdown once or twice but only after a certain time. It was otherwise banned. But you could still go out and buy the VHS single. Erotica, however, was even more rarely seen in Much, even though it didn’t actually contain nudity (there is an uncensored/European version that contains nudity however). They showed it once for a special show. Their sister station CityTV showed it once also on a top 10 countdown. That’s it. I missed both. And they didn’t turn it into a VHS single. They were about to release it with a 90s Madonna compilation DVD, they they decided to remove it because Wal-mart refused to carry the DVD if it was on there. So it was basically unavailable unless you taped a rare broadcast of it. I didn’t get to see it until about 8 years after it was released, when I downloaded it illegally from Napster. It wasn’t made officially available on disc until 2009, in Madonna’s Celebration DVD compilation. The uncensored European version was never made available. It’s on TH-cam but they’re not very good copies.
thank you for your authentic reaction, it's what I expected from people who had never seen this video, I've seen other reactions and they were boring, anyway i was 13 when this video came out and yes i had to wait until after midnight to watch it and it was worth it those were other times, and she was there ahead of her time, I´ve been his fan since her early days and her evolution has always fascinated me as an artist and always controversial
This song went to #1 in America & always the world & was banned till after midnight on most music channels & used an edited version. But you could buy the unsensored version on VHS

Long Live The Queen!
Some info on the controversy of this song, taken from Wikipedia:
The video was deemed too sexually explicit for MTV and was banned from the network.

Yasssssssssssssssssssssssssss Living for this comment...its so on point.
Erotica (uncensored) yes !
She didn’t pretend to be a lesbian
The video for Justify My Love was one of the biggest controversies in Madonna’s career, which is saying a lot. Because the video was banned from MTV, Madonna decided to sell it as a video single for $9.98. It was the first-ever video single and sold over a million copies.
The sole male dancer that you see in this MV is Jose Gutierrez, one of Madonna's backup dancers from the 1990 Blond Ambition World Tour.
This video freaked so many people out back in the day. And we loved it.
If this was too sexy, now imagine the mv for Erotica!!! U guys should react to it :3
Even today this video stands out as magnificent
You can only imagine the splash it made in 1990
I am 49, I remember
This was truly groundbreaking
you should react to her “erotica” video next 😋😋😋
That's the logical next step😜🌡️
No....BEDTIME STORIES and HUMAN NATURE!

@@juaneduardotarzia6650 Finally someone linked the correct version ! If you wanna see what Erotica video
is all about you need to see the uncensored version.
The uncensored version
Jan= Holiday or Lucky Star
Jacky Cox= Like a Virgin
Gigi= Papa don´t preach
Brita= Express Yourself
Jaida Essence Hall= Justify My Love
Sherry Pie= Evita (movie)
Crystal Methyd= Ray of Light
Widow= Music
Heidi= Bitch I´m Madonna
It was banned on MTV so she released it as a video single. The William Orbit Remix was a club banger and was #1 on the Billboard dance chart
Old Madonna? Classic Madonna. She’s the queen of the pop world
Now react to Erotica the uncensored version.
Naw
This was premiered globally on mtv then when it was about music ...i remember waiting till midnight to watch it from australia ...due to time change from the US!!!
Back in the 80s there were video bars, especially gay video bars. Although banned on MTV, every gay bar in the country was showing it. The trade in the video is Tony Ward, who dated Madonna for awhile and starred in Bruce La Bruce’s “Hustler White”.
OK, let's begin your Madonna journey, I'm so here for it. Lots and lots of amazing videos coming your way, especially her late 80s to her 2000s
@3:40 “do people think that girls kissing is actually hot?” “I Guess..” giiiiiirl I almost chocked on my apple LOL 😂
Madonna is the inventor of EVERYTHING! 🙌🏻👑
Love hearing you say she invented “Sex” because literally what came next was her coffee table book “SEX” and the Erotica album. Madonna actually wrote the book on SEX.
Fun Fact: Do you know the male lead in this video, Tony Ward, was Madonna's one-time boyfriend?
Lord who wasntttttt madonna dating bro...lol. She dated ever race and sex..lol
drown deep My god yes... Tupac Shakur, Dennis Rodman, Vanilla Ice, Warren Beatty.... what can I say, she wanted to taste the rainbow. Lol
Tony Ward was also the star of Bruce La Bruce's Hustler White. th-cam.com/video/ukd_nEjKqZg/w-d-xo.html
he's a sexy daddy nowadays, he's on instagram
He is her dauthers dad! And he is latin!!
They played this video once during the day when it premiered on MTV and after that they only played it after 10pm
No, you're confusing this with Erotica which was aired THREE times only in the US. JML was properly BANNED. Not in Europe though...where both videos were played.
OK guys, so the references are:
Jan - Madonna/First Album, 1983 - Lucky Star music video
Jackie Cox - Like a Virgin era, 1984 - Like A Virgin VMA live performance
Gigi Goode - True Blue album, 1986 - Papa Don't Preach music video, 1986
Brita - Express Yourself (from Madonna's 1989 album 'Like A Prayer) live performance from the Blond Ambition tour, 1990
Jaida - Justify my Love music video, 1990
Sherrie Pie - Evita movie/Don't Cry For Me Argentina music video, 1996, with some references in the lyrics to some of Madonna's movies: Desperately Seeking Susan, 1984; Who's That Girl, 1987; Shanghai Surprise, 1987; Dick Tracy, 1990; A League Of Their Own, 1992
[here I really missed something from the Bedtime Stories album of 1994, maybe Take A Bow or Human Nature]
Crystal Methyd - Ray of Light music video, 1998
Widow Von'Du - Music music video from the Music album, 2000
[here I really missed the Confessions era]
Heidi N Closet - Bitch I'm Madonna from the Rebel Heart album, 2015
There are many Madonna videos or live performances to react to, I'd love to see you reacting to Express Yourself, Bad Girl, Human Nature, Frozen, American Life (Director's cut), Take A Bow, Oh Father and many more... Also to Live To Tell and Music from Confessions Tour, THE 'VOGUE' LIVE PERFORMANCE FROM 1990 VMA'S, sorry, guys, I'm just unable to choose. React, enjoy, have fun, there're a lot to discover...
OMG YOU DID IT
The video was banned, then only played after 10 pm.
Everybody should RESPECT THE QUEEN MADONNA
This video did air on MTV but it originally aired on a news show called Niteline. She was also interviewed and she defended herself gracefully but quipped that she got the last laugh by cashing in with the video being a best seller. You can see the Niteline clip here on YT.
Deeper And Deeper by Madonna was a real club banger back in the day!
played a few clubs in Ptown last summer
So I was a baby queer in college when this came out (slightly after when I came out) and it was SUCH an amazing time to have her speaking out on sexuality, sexual orientation, gender, so much. She definitely made a huge impression on me and for my own self-acceptance. She was thrilling to see pushing the conversation in a repressive time.
I think in America the times now are even more repressive.
The William Orbit remix of this song is soooo good. Check it out if you liked the song! He went on to produce Ray of Light and more for her.
4:33 it didn't air. Even MTV banned it until late night after 12. I remember it well, my sister and I would stay up at 12 and 13 yrs. Great memories from my teenage. They also sold it in VHS which I bought in the late 90s
Watch the videos for Lucky Star and Papa Don't Preach for Jan and GiGi's references. You should also watch the documentary Truth or Dare. Love you!
I second this. :)
I think they've already seen Truth or Dare. They mentioned watching a Madonna Documentary "where she was going to get arrested by the police.."
Are u serious...lol. They cant handle TRUTH OR DARE. I dont even think MADONNA can handle TRUTH OR DARE now.....hahahaha.
@@lifeisthedash well they did.
I remember when this video came out, she turned the music world upside down. All the medias were on her. She's an icon
to answer your question - it did air on MTV and got so many complains that they took it off air and we had to buy it on VHS (which I still keep) - it was the first VHS music single. It was also played on MTV for many years but only after midnight.
Madonna is ICONIC!
Justify My Love was banned from MTV and other TV networks. It was aired once on ABC News Nightline. I saw Madonna here in Toronto on her Blonde Ambition tour. There were police waiting in the wings to arrest her if she did "certain things" during Like a Virgin. Prompting Madonna to say in the media (and in Truth or Dare) "The fascist state of Toronto."
If you are shocked by this video you should look at Madonna's book SEX - if you haven't already. Luv you guys. I watch all your videos.
Ya'll need to watch and react to:
Vogue
Sooner or Later
Human Nature
Frozen
Nothing Really Matters
Express Yourself
Live to Tell
Papa Don't Reach
Burning Up
Ray of Light
Like a Virgin
Take a Bow
You'll See

Don't Tell Me

Cherish
Deeper and Deeper
Open your heart to me
Die another day
Secret
and more!!! Honestly if this becomes a Madonna reaction channel, all us Madonna stans will come flocking your way! Haha
This is my Madonna I grew up with her she is the original she was way before Gaga or Beyonce she is the one who got video band cause she went beyond all others she is the 👑 Queen
Dont compare her to B or Gaga cause their styles are different Beyonce is clearly more hip hop and R&B and lady gaga is more alternative pop
😁👍🏼
Y'all should react to Ray of light by Madonna. I think you guy's will love it
yes for real this aired.... I was in high school watching this
I grew up with Madonna. There was another music channel called The Box that you called in videos. This was all over it in the days before TH-cam. She deserves all the love she gets. Its real.
This was never shown on TV, it was banned from MTV. It was however, the very first video single.
I actually still have that vhs! Still love her
I really don't know if I cry or laught after earing this couple not knowing Madonna's earlier contributions to LGBT rights.
Sugestions: Madonna's Erotica music video, Sex photo book, The Girlie Show Tour's Deeper and Deeper performance
My favorite Madonna Music Video is “Bad Girl” that’s a great video, ❤️
So happy to see your reaction... yes! She's our queen, our goddess, and occasionally our northern star. It was pure art
It’s time for you guys to react to Madonna’s music videos !!
It was banned from MTV, so Madonna released it on VHS. The first video single in history. And it went number one in the Hot 100 as a result. I think it was her ninth number one single in the US.
you were shocked by the video is the best part of it all 🤣
Thanks for doing all Madonna songs and not just the present. As you are MEGA Ru/Michelle Fans, to truly appreciate her you have to know her. Love the reaction videos.
Watch more MADONNA! Everyone needs to know her discography and work.
🤣🤣🤣 love that you reacted to this!!! This was SCANDELOUS when it came out! It was on MTV for the preview but then was banned. This, she gave teen me lyfe!!!! I watched with all my friends and we were 😵🤯....also felt like badies because we saw it. It was all they talked about in school the next day 🤣🤣🤣
No one comes close to this woman’s music, video and tour catalogue
Gigi did the choreography of "Papa Don't Preach"
You need to react please!!!
React to "Human Nature"by Madonna. You young people hahaha
I saw this video on MTV when it came out. It was very controversial and shocked a lot of people
Loved this reaction, I’d love to see more Madonna reactions. Love that it was inspired by the rusical. That was awesome, as a massive Madonna fan they got it spot on and Gigi Goode served it!
Madonna went through a phase of controversial explicit 'sex' songs for a period of time in the 1990s. Including a sex book. This is from that era. Erotica is another.
you guys should def do more Madonna reaction videos!
Thanks guys you are so love ly IAM A BIG madonna fan And I LOVÉ this video a Masterpiece the SONG IS GRÉÂT THE QUEEN OF POP THE QUEEN OF LOVE 👑👑❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
my absolute favourite video!!!! love it! pure art and beauty!
Y'all need to please review all her 80s songs !
This aired on MTV and VH1 during the late night/early morning. Madonna is the GOAT. She was so revolutionary. She shattered the glass ceiling.
It’s on TH-cam but they’re not very good copies.
thank you for your authentic reaction, it's what I expected from people who had never seen this video,
I've seen other reactions and they were boring,
anyway
i was 13 when this video came out and yes i had to wait until after midnight to watch it and it was worth it
those were other times, and she was there ahead of her time,
I´ve been his fan since her early days and her evolution has always fascinated me as an artist and always controversial
Hi guys in the Netherlands they aired it, uncensored it played on dutch music channels
MTV aired this but only after 10pm and body parts were was blurred out. 1990/1991. Written by/with Lenny Kravitiz
This song went to #1 in America & always the world & was banned till after midnight on most music channels & used an edited version. But you could buy the unsensored version on VHS
Пуритане😂
