This version still gives me goosebumps. One of the best reinvention of her songs on stage. The whole segment was iconic in itself the blend of like a virgin, like a prayer, live to tell, oh father and papa don’t preach was pure genius!

My wild Dad actually took me to see this Blond Ambition Tour in Washington, DC and it was so hard to get tickets. None of my friends parents would allow them to come with us b/c Madonna was considered so filthy. The Barcelona version is the BEST version. She was more relaxed cause she knew it was filmed for the European and Australian audiences. Also what makes this version special: it was hot and HUMID evening in Barcelona that night and her hair was extra crazy and also there were some technical issues: like her mic being still on while she was off stage and you could hear her commenting on the hotness of the weather. Omg I lived for this concert, I had this and her follow up tour Girly Show... My entire room was wallpapered with posters, and magazine clippings. My Mom constantly threatening to tear it down. It was not until I left for college and I was passing on my room to younger sister that tearfully I maticulouslly disassembled. I think back to the Vogue? cover and shoot she did in ode to Marilyn, it was truly one of the most beautiful thing I've ever seen of her to date

The clip you watched was in the 1991 documentary called Truth or Dare (a Blu Ray quality has been released since so hence the good quality) Fun fact: Prince during his 82-83 "1999" Tour did a performance of "International lover" on a bed. Where Madonna got her inspiration. Back in the 80's There was even speculation that both Madonna and Prince talked about teaming up to do a tour together. But Prince said "The World isn't ready". They did though collaborate together for Madonna's "Like a prayer" album. He did "Love song", in which he lends his vocals as well, and worked on "Act of Contrition". His guitar skills in that one are amazing.

Like a Virgin is followed by Like a Prayer, Oh Father, Live To Tell and Papa Don't Preach -- a whole worthy experience. The opening song of this tour was Express Yourself, also iconic. Also note, Blonde Aambition was the "debut" of the Vogue performances live.

From the 4 section format to costume changes and song presentation... Every Madonna tour looks, sounds and is choreographed differently, unlike most pop stars who are still doing dances from 10 years ago....

ROFLMAO! YASSSS!! This was my favorite performance she did and I feel so lucky I was able to see it live in Philly back in '89. I thought it was hilarious that she "climaxed" and then you hear her say "God" and it goes into Like A Prayer. This was one of my all tie favorite concerts and was more like a Broadway show then a concert.
Saw it in Dallas at the first show. My friends and I were doing the uncomfortable giggle and loving every second of it! So beyond pop perfection!

This truly is her BEST concert of all time!! Someone recently leaked the entire New Jersey show so if you can find it watch it you will not be disappointed! One really good performance of her Rebel Heart tour is Holy Water and Vogue from her Sticky and Sweet tour they are both good!

Actually, this performance was done during her Blond Ambition in 1990. The clip you watched was in the 1991 documentary called Truth or Dare (a Blu Ray quality has been released since so hence the good quality)
Fun fact: Prince during his 82-83 "1999" Tour did a performance of "International lover" on a bed. Where Madonna got her inspiration. Back in the 80's There was even speculation that both Madonna and Prince talked about teaming up to do a tour together. But Prince said "The World isn't ready". They did though collaborate together for Madonna's "Like a prayer" album. He did "Love song", in which he lends his vocals as well, and worked on "Act of Contrition". His guitar skills in that one are amazing.

I saw this tour in Detroit on June 1st. We sang Happy Birthday to her Dad after Holiday. I was fortunate to see every one of her tours except the Madame X tour.

Guys I just started following your Madonna journey love the reactions. I know you said you liked the video for “girl gone wild” I highly recommend the MDNA live version as well. Any Madonna live performance is worth the watch. But another suggestion would be Bedtime story at the BRIT awards. Stunning.
I've seen almost every concert except for the last two. My favorites concert are: Sticky N Sweet Tour, Confessions Tour, BA. They are all great though, The Virgin Tour, Girlie Show, Drown World.
