Glad I could help. I've had this on VHS for many years (1989) and made the transfer at the end of 2015. There aren't any dropouts in vision or tape damage which I was very happy with.
+PhantomFilmAustralia The Wally Lewis era of Origin was the most exciting. People didn't really know who these guys from the north were and when they came to take on the New South Wales champion players the Queenslanders were running riot. It was like an alien invasion. NSW just didn't have answers from the attack from the North. It was pretty scary / exciting to live through!

QLD clearly the better side in the 80's eventhou NSW had the assistance of Mike stone to win games and they had the Gaul to go on about the Grasshopper helping QLD.
and you have the *gall* to claim Gommersall didn't get Queensland over the line on more than one occasion?

QLD had the assistance of home ground advantage, every series from 82-87 had 2 games at lang Park.
