right, I feel your pain.; there are parents who came here legally but over time fell out of status due to incompetnet lawyers and these parents have children who are American citizens and these parents have been living here , working, contributing to society , creating business and providing jobs and employment for Americans ,working hard and paying taxes for 30+ years and never broke the law and these honest, hard working people who embody the spirit of America cannot get green card, because they overstayed and got our of status.

Yup. They need to pass dignity Act. Millions of people here came legally. Fell out of status or are about to AGE OUT of status… it’s not right. Dignity Act solves all of this…and Congress sits on it and does nothing

@@tw1258 Well REGISTRY is better than DIGNITY ACT, IT only requires moving the date forward from 1972

Hi!! I am a member of American Families United which Im sure you already know of. We are volunteers representing U.S. citizens advocating for immigration policy reforms that prioritize family reunification and minimize family separation, our spouses are directly impacted by the permanent bars due to reentry/false claim/misrepresentation.
We are and have been working with the Biden administration on the details of this Parole program. This PIP was introduced to help our families who face those bars get a protection against deportation. That being said, nothing is yet official regarding the details and eligibility for this PIP and even AOS… We are working very hard to make sure as many AFU families affected by those cruel bars of inadmissibility are covered.
Please follow us and stay connected to know about the latest updates/details!!

This always happens right before election time. They just play around with everyone and never really do anything about it. I've been here since i was a baby and applied for DACA 2 months later they stopped approving. Apparently, there is nothing i can do because im not married to a US citizen. This is so frustrating.

and if they do, there is always a limitation, an excuse not to qualify, or only a few qualify, this has all been orchestrated by republicans who have power over immigration, who keep on making all these unfair malicious laws to either delay or block any possibilities.... most First Generation Dreamers who had been promised the Dream Act since 2001, aged and never qualified for DACA, they are still left out and forsaken until now in days!!! First Dreamers and those who have been here for over 20 years should be first in line!!!!!!😡

So lets me get this straight, the only difference from this policy, from the existing law for adjustment of status by marriage, is the fact that now anyone that did not enter the country legally (border crossing etc) don't have to go back and legally apply for a green card- in which could take a while. I don't see any major changes or additions here. So, in a nutshell, it speeds up the process for a law that already in existance. Am I missing something?

I am an American citizen who is married to an undocumented immigrant. We've been married for almost 12 years. We found out yesterday that this law doesn't apply to her because she entered the country legally but overstayed. She was believed to have lied at her asylum hearing. So she's been under I.C.E supervisor. Is there any avenue that could allow her to get her green card through parole in place?

This PIP is for persons who have entered the country without getting a stamp, they sneaked in, whether it's under someone's else name or at the border. They are now allowed to get their paper work done without having to return to their country of birth to complete the process, which usually can take years to complete and it's not a guarantee that they will be able to re- enter the USA

Or for DACA children. Every two years, they are checking them, and it's already 12 years. Why don't you give that grown people, why are educated, paying taxes, well behave . They deserve to have citizenship

I was wondering since REGISTRY exists as a law and only requires a date change (1972 to a more recent date) could
President Biden use an EO to bring the date forward?
