"A moral compass two times bigger than his brain" is the funniest and most accurate description of Gi-Hyun's character (sorry for the spelling) I've ever heard 🤣

A facility of this magnitude with all those lights and surely a pretty significant heating system would light up on thermal like a christmas tree especially when viewing an island that supposedly has nothing on it. Im no expert though and might be horribly mistaken but in my mind it would make sense
I can't remember that well, but did player 456 ever find out the games were on an island? I thought they had always drugged/ blindfolded him when leaving the games. Which is why I thought he only focused on finding the recruiter, and only the cop tried to find the island. Either way the cop definitely should've convinced him to use some money on a fleet of drones (not just one) with infrared or thermal and a nice yacht/battleship with some sonar.

45:10 I've been talking about this exact thing with my friends and family and feel the same way as well! I really feel like that Gi-hun ironically trying to save all those people is what led to their deaths. The more people die, the more the remaining players would want to leave (both due to the increased shock value but also the money), you are one of the few people that actually brought up that point.
It's a double edged sword. If you want to save as many people as possible, you want to do what you can to keep people alive. However, the more people you keep alive the less dangerous the games seem and the less they're getting so people are more likely to continue the game. As the saying goes, "If you try to save everyone, you'll save no one."
which is why i believe that at the end of season 3 he will blame himself for everything, but also realize that those people dont deserve saving since they always vote to keep going. this will make him relate to the frontmans pov, which might lead to him becoming the frontman at some point. at least thats what i think would be the coolest thing that could happen

Aside from the obvious difference in mouth movements, another thing an English dub can’t capture is the way Koreans naturally emphasize syllables and their speech patterns. Korean seems more expressive and dramatic. Almost whiny at times. English definitely is more neutral in tone and mostly just raises the volume when emphasizing. In short, English definitely misses the emotion that’s meant to be portrayed in certain dialogue that exists in the native Korean.
50:24 Honestly, I don't even know how you would do all of that within 5 minutes, the spinning top and dice game would probably take me over 5 minutes alone. Yes. I am not Korean so I never played gonggi before. After watching the season I bought it and tried it. It is so hard. To me I think Gi-hun is doing this for revenge then to save lives. If he wanted to save lives he would prioritized keeping the Xs alive to end the game but he would rather go all in and try to end the game.
There are several problems with the series, the place didnt build itself that is a project that would take a long time to complete even with a large crew, and the materials needed its a massive undertaking with over 5000 people involved all together in some capacity and all of them would have questions, and many of them commuting to said island every day for a year or two i think they would know where it is. Then there are other logistical problems, getting them all on the island in what boats with what captains and crews? They also need food and other materials so they will need a boat every week at minimum, there are several islands but in general people dont live on islands due to the massive lack of jobs and things people want and or need like internet, food, electricity etc etc, So its an island with power, that much is clear so that removes the vast majority of possible islands, since no civilians have reporting weird things going on on their island, either they are all in on it or its another island, which further removes the vast majority of islands and we are now down to less then 10 islands for sure. So now we just keep track of which islands receives boats every week out of those 10 and we are down to like 3, in fact we could all do this investigative work alone from home just with the internet. But the police in the show were clearly hired from the only brain dead people in the country sadly. No need to follow anyone, just make a group of heavily armed police and raid those islands one at a time. Or even better make a group for every island that is possible to house it, and raid them all at the same time. We can further limit the number of islands, does the power fluctuate or not at the squid games, if its steady its connected to the mainland electricity grid, if it fluctuates it has its own power source, possibly oil or coal, and now we know almost for sure which island it has to be. But the writers are doing their absolute best to ignore this part of it, because once you start thinking about it it becomes an easy process.
i appreciate you actually telling us "how to beat" the squid game, unlike cinema summary who just says "to win rock paper scissors, you need to beat your opponent"
Kind of reminds me of what Luigi did from what I gather he was from a well-off family he could afford to take care of his medical bills but he was like fuck that this shit ain't right😅
Also not to mention Sang-Woo Gi-Hun's friend saw 001 kill another player during Mingle so the room would have 2 people which should have also been a big red flag lesson learned never trust player 1
The ideal group size for the mingle game is 6. It is the easiest number to split into multiples for other groups (10 needs 5 groups split into thirds, 9 needs 3 groups split in half, 8 needs 4 groups split into 4s and 2s, etc) and will require very few steagglers even if its just you who's grouped into 6, while as the numbers get smaller it's the easiest number to split into low whole multiples. In the show, 6, 3, and 2 require no extra players and no sacrifices. By just having 2 groups of 6, in the show the only risk is in the first (and easiest) round where you have to give up a pair, which in a life or death scenario would be scooped up almost immediately
why didn't the cop just told gi hun his brother was the front man, maybe gi hun would've expose him to the guards and other players, i know for a fact that one of the players would've recognize him.
I mean, its not thaat hard to organize the games without being publicly noticed. You only need a few people high up in the police departments and the media to kill any public reports.
Why the f did bro put a tracker on himself? Giving some rando a ton of money for getting a tracker implanted and hopping into a van is far safer and far less suspicious
I would've tried to be on the ones organising the game like you said....and maybe not interrupt one game at all to gain their trust, and then just use the first time to check everything needed to know, and then carry out my plan the next game

I'm crying with him censoring "russian"
You can still learn new things. Even if you played these games beforeeeee!!!!!
Gi hun probs after calling 001 again: theres NO way they would try to pull this again right.... right?
An alien named Hugh Mann trying to blend in would be a great TV show
52:25 DID I HEAR A ROCK AND STONE? 🗣🔥
That game sucks
@ knife eared tree hugger spotted
@@ThatCatGuy3811 I know a knife eared tree hugger when I see one
i appreciate you actually telling us "how to beat" the squid game, unlike cinema summary who just says "to win rock paper scissors, you need to beat your opponent"
Day 118 of asking for a how to survive the crazy family in house of a thousand corpses
Match their crazy lol
Not watching yet, may wanna see the show, cme here to add a view an like
feeling early, but 30 other nerds commented before watching the video
Damn we got a second video this week we eating good
29:37 Beckendorf reference 💔💔💔
*IVE EXPLAINED THESE GAMES BEFORE*
Why does no one talk about how one of his mercenaries got killed? I've never heard it mentioned at all.
Kind of reminds me of what Luigi did from what I gather he was from a well-off family he could afford to take care of his medical bills but he was like fuck that this shit ain't right😅
45:04 did the black mask REALLY need lips that big
I can't unsee that now 😂
Stahhhhp 😂😂😂
I keep seeing like a harelip style up turn on the left side of those big luscious bee stung lips lol
My dude said he changed his mind from "on" to "off". Had me wheezing 😂😂😂
Another great video.
You forgot to mentioned that the fishermen is a mole too
What would I do? Probably do the Electric Slide.
why didn't the cop just told gi hun his brother was the front man, maybe gi hun would've expose him to the guards and other players, i know for a fact that one of the players would've recognize him.
13:54 This seems familiar…
1h and a half of nerd explains,what a treat ❤
Yeah that jacks game would have me dead
No , in Vietnamese we call it keo bua bao, which is means roughly scissor rock paper, we still go the rock first most of the time
“Food or lottery ticket?”
Me: ”mama ain’t raise a gambler!”
*starts getting handed food*
Me: *snatches lottery ticket* ”ha, fool, my mom didn’t raise me!"
Gotta watch before CopyRight monster takes it away
Honestly for real 😅
0:25 i see what you did there ;)
background music too quiet! it's wierd without being able to hear your signature background track!
I mean, its not thaat hard to organize the games without being publicly noticed. You only need a few people high up in the police departments and the media to kill any public reports.
Yea season 2 really showed how stupid gi-hun really is
The 42 cents really make squid games worth it imo
Why the f did bro put a tracker on himself? Giving some rando a ton of money for getting a tracker implanted and hopping into a van is far safer and far less suspicious
12:18 Are they supposed to be Tom Noonan, Joe Pesci, and Rodney Dangerfield?
Could you do the revenant, the purge, unhinged, and the titanic? Please please please!
Nerd I'm a lefty you will show me the way!😂
Do they have to pay the equivalent of capital gains taxes on their winnings? If so, it's hardly worth it to compete.
I would've tried to be on the ones organising the game like you said....and maybe not interrupt one game at all to gain their trust, and then just use the first time to check everything needed to know, and then carry out my plan the next game
