Ok as a male singer I just have to say that y’all don’t even understand how difficult You Tied Up My Heart is. Like even high tenors are gonna be worn out within the first few minutes of the song, and then the goddamn ending. I know people complain that Jeff writes too many songs for himself that don’t sound very good live but I have to hand it to the guy. For as hard as the songs are, he still pulls them off pretty well.

Only based on vocal difficulty pal. But yes it would be harder, most songs are harder with choreography, because you not only sing but dance as well, it makes sure that you must have proper breath support. For difficult dancing slow choreography breathing isn't a challenge.

i think too many people complain about jeff often going for his falsetto and not having a perfectly polished voice. part of what makes his voice so interesting n fun to hear is the range and inconsistencies from a live performance. some people just hear an album and think "this is what this person needs to sound like All Of The Time" and that is... very much not how voices work. mayhaps im just biased cuz his voice n humour tickle my brain idk
