I got Exactly 90 on 70 in TIFTON ct, GA. Not a point above or below, exactly to the dot 90, the point you get MAXIMUM fine of PROFIT for the Police. Even the police had a guilty smile when he popped his head through my window, he knew be was wrongly victim choosing an broen out of town passing i75 south to Florida. My sunglasses stare at him triggred him to stop me.
Funny part is, I was going 75-80, a 60+ older couple was driving before my car. They were definitely not driving 90, I saw my meter was exactly midpoint 70+.
When I asked for evidences they promised me at hearing, nothing was provided, I was asked to sit at the 200 feet down all they way in the furthest corner entire hearing. Judge was absent, only a cowboy hat wearing guy collecting payments.
I just paid and left $900 reduced to $700+. I didn't want to come back again for changed date, rent Motel overnight again, lose at Atkanta business/job etc..

@@amtravelingservice4400 no, I understand the point they're trying to make. I just think the point is quite pointless. Especially the argument to have GSP enforce rather than local municipalities. Because GSP just sends the ticket to the local court, and the local court gets the fines for the infraction.
It's ultimately the driver's responsibility to ensure the vehicle they're driving is in compliance with the law. If you get a citation, especially a non-moving infraction like tint or expired tag, you can either fix it, show up to court, and they'll more than likely dismiss it. Or pay the ticket for non-compliance. It's that simple...

This little one horse town is nothing , Go to Tallulah gorge Falls Georgia Hwy 441 north near clayton Ga. Just above Clarkesville Ga . Watch out , They have only one police officer and a Chef . One patrol car they do not even need . They have photo radar and collect 100s of thousands or dollars per year . based on a school zone where the school is five hundred feet from the highway and does not even have a side walk is a private school and all students are bused in to the school no pedestrian is ever seen outside during school hours . You pay your ticket fine to another state which is Chattanooga Tennessee where the radar company is based and Tallulah city receives only a small percentage of the fine and the radar company gets the rest and you are even charged Tennessee Tax on the ticket . This hwy is the major route to Harrah's casino , Helen ,Dillard nothing but a tourist hwy only 79 miles from Atlanta . Their are millions of cars a month from lots of states pass thru here which is the only way to get to these places . Now thats worth investigating .

News flash! Traffic citations are the major source of revenue for small American towns. They don’t have any other major sources of income like attractions and will do whatever necessary to force outsiders into town. Imagine you go to court for your citation, eventually you’ll be tired & hungry and will visit a local cafe nearby after your case. So besides paying for your ticket you’ll spend some money in town. Clever system huh? Only way to avoid that is to drive responsibly and make sure your vehicle is in compliance. 😂

Coming into small towns speed limits: 55mph, 20m later, 35mph, around the next turn 20m later, 25mph, take the next turn to get out 20mph.
They make it purposely hard to get through towns with actually following the speed limits so they can write tickets. Then they get you on the little stuff like the tinted windows and license plate cover, etc.
I get they want their towns to still exist but it’s wild we let them exist through trying to make money by tickets they know people won’t come back to fight.

Tiny towns can't survive without this type of revenue. Very poor household incomes and properties in decline. Not saying it's right just a reality for some rural type towns. Lots of these places want to get annexed for their strip of interstate so they can ring up those tickets. They know people traveling through are not going to take the time to fight in person for court date. Lots of cops too for these small towns are re-tread cops that have issues in their records where they were fired or let go from larger cities due to disciplinary actions. These small towns you do not want to get an attitude with those cops because some are dirty. It's getting to the point where people need cameras installed on their vehicles to the cloud so not just the cops version of a camera and angle is represented in an interaction with law enforcement. Not all cops are bad there are some really good ones it's just with budget shortfalls and places needing more officers sometimes they hire people they should not and give them a job. The places that pay higher money with lots of applications can be more selective.

Not corruption. The monetary percentage only pertains to speeding citations. 85 mph or higher on the interstate is super speeder. Totally legit policing. So, just because they are a small town, some of you think you should be able to drive through their town with an expired, tag, no insurance, or other traffic/ equipment violations? I live 1.5 hours from Dillard. I drive through there all the time. Never had a problem. They have a major road that goes through the middle of town with crosswalks. People do not slow down. Visit and try to walk across 441. You will see how unsafe it is. If you don't like assisting small town residents with the financial state of their city, then don't violate the law when you pass through. A lot of people get in trouble because they think they know the law and they enjoy the current fad of bashing the police until they need the police.

Not a Single Example of a False Ticket or Citation. Pull your Heads Out People, the Small Towns Enforce the Laws. If you Break a Law or Rule, Except it and Don’t Blame the Cops or Governments, it’s your Own Fault. “I’ve Paid My share of Tickets also and it was my Fault.
If you want it to stop, check Yourself, stay Legal and Do Not Complain Unless the Cops start Lying and Fabricate Infractions.
