Happy 4th of July everyone! Today we have a super long vlog for you to enjoy! What a day it was. It started off with the 4th of July Parade in Downtown Alpena Michigan. We had to take Shelby with us since she won't leave her stitches alone and was really starting to make her foot look pretty bad.
After the parade we came back home and enjoyed some fun time in the yard with the dogs. Then we took them for a short Jeep ride just so they could all do something together. Then Greg showed up while I was getting dinner ready, and lucky for him, I had an extra Chicken Breast so we invited him to stay.
After dinner it was time to head to the fireworks! We left to go to them. . . and left Shelby at home. . but then she decided to rip off her cone. . so back to the house to grab Shelby to go back to the fireworks! She is being such a brat with these stitches!

I sneezed right when Oakley sneezed so I got so confused when Jess said "bless you." I was like "how'd she know I just sneezed??" because I couldn't hear Oakley's sneeze over mine haha
This was Shelby's best 4th of July ever, being an extra spoiled diva of herself. I think all three dogs had an awesome 4th of July, especially with that hammock (so cute) and the Jeep ride. That T-Rex and 9/11 memorial in the parade were very creative.
Smart move Diva Shelby, now you get to go to see firework. She looks so happy.

This is why Shelby's my favorite personality-wise. She's super smart and learns how to get special treatment. First she got dip and cheese. Now its going to places while the other 2 stay at home. Wonder what her next trick is?

I actually think its nice that shelby got to go with you guys alone. I noticed that sometimes memphis gets to go out places alone but rarely do shelby or oakley travel alone with you guys :O

What if you use a pair of long tube socks? Split the top of one in two, pull it all the way up Shelby's leg. Drape this other sock over her neck/shoulders and tie ends to split ends of sock on her leg.

In Manitowoc our fireworks for the fourth was normal and then since celebrate the Submarines and boats. The fireworks came out of Lake Michigan! It was so cool!
