The World Surf League (WSL) Qualifying Series (QS) returns to Indonesia this week for the 2024 Nias Pro QS 5000 and Pro Junior Events. The QS event will be the second opportunity for up-and-comers to compete for points as they look to book a spot on the 2025 WSL Challenger Series.

this is the type of venue the dream tour was set up for back in the day but now that the management people have taken over who are trying to grow the sport viewer wise don't realise is that they are losing the existing fan base by holding events at questionable beach breaks

This has been an insane few days of surfing! Kudos to the teams in the booth for keeping things real, and the Bang Bang handouts have me very curious here in the states of what they taste like, can we get a bang bang breakdown from one of the surfers or commentaters...whats in them, what do they taste like...very important info😂😂😂
One last request: The waves seen around the corner and then out by those rocks from a horror story have been looking huuuuuge! How big do they get on the outside there?

Awesome wave but it’s one dimensional and kinda boring to watch over and over and over and over again.
I assumed the same thing but when watching the event I found it to be one of the most entertaining events I've ever seen.
commentary can make or break it… just check-out Redbull Hardline, full of wee gems of info. commentators need to have done there homework + b instantly familiar w who/what’s on t screen ALL t time.
