Went to the Portland concert last night and this version stole my heart!! I love the original vocals but with it taken away, really brings out the beauty of the actual song. Nothing beats violins singing it for me ;-;
@@SAU修 YES! I'm searching all over the OST and game footage and realized it's a specific rearrangement for the concert. Makes it more special to have witnessed it. Although I was really hoping they'd perform "Holy" (the version that plays when Aerith pushes Cloud to the next dimension w Sephiroth walking into the church), this was wonderful. I held in my tears all concert until they ended it with Aerith's Theme. Sobbed so much lolol
@@csdsa I know exactly how you feel. Because I actually went to the concert for Aerith's theme, when they finally play the song in the end, I literally cried and got really emotional. It was really epic and audience all stood up for a standing ovation. I went to both Singapore and London's show, London's performance is far greater imo. I went to a showing in the states and the cinematic for this part was so different!! It was Aerith's date, but not the high affinity version where Cloud catches the petal, and we didn't get any of the flashback/flash forward moments!! Music was absolutely stunning, but I wish we would've gotten this version of the cinematic

Goosebumps the first time I heard it in the Virginia concert. Truly a special soundtrack all around.
