Got 1 decapitated head riding a long in the cart at the beginning and at the end there was a nice headshot that just made his head pop and disappear. not really, after 10-15m distance its eintire damage is halved, and the delay when you click m1 to shoot is horrible (well, you can get used to it i guess).
They turned off shadows and have their sharpness set pretty high. If you want to improve visibility I suggest using Nvidia Game Filters and add vibrance/clarity/saturation.

If i had to guess Choco took it so he could perform better against hordes; The Engineers primary weakness is getting surrounded by hordes. The Crank Gun and the Masterwork Pistol already give The Engineer excellent ranged capabilities so there's no need for Enhanced Power and since Choco is alone he cant rely on others to stagger enemies for him so no Mainstay
What is the general opinion on the engi? In my group he feel kind of OP but we are still at a champ difficulty level so I don't know how it fare when people are more organised and quicker to draw with other weapon. For now I would say the the gatling is a tad too easy to charge and the cog hammer is one of the best dwarf weapon by a long range, while the pistol is too slow to fire compared to rifle in most situation.
my tip: all potions effects and 6-2 instant charge. Works nicely >< 11:27 and I feel like 4-3 needs to be nerfed somehow. Maybe -5/-10% attack speed instead of BONUS. Masterwork pistol seems too OP too. Maybe 3 ammo mag + LMB using 3 ammo? Plus RMB deals too much damage.. It's like handgun without reload + shotgun. Cog hammer. It is what it is. 2h hammer works similar, but without cleave. 2h axe works similar but without CC. Similar issues to Grail Knight, where both classes have much advantages, not enough drawbacks. But GK at least doesn't have ranged weapons. Anyway Well Played Choco! :)
Engineer relies on teammates a lot if you want to keep your minigun up, that by itself is a huge issue. The video looks fine because the pistol is very strong.

But also not a fan of Ult's that wipe enemies aka "Shade+Grail+Waystalker+BattleWizzard". But I didn't said no-use of minigun. Just every Ult NEEDS cooldown and Minigun has infinite ammo in supposedly melee oriented game. But again you get Ult potions and on those classes it's just pathetic how OP they become.

You see some ppl calling engineer weak, which has some points but I personally think the class has fundamental issue with good performance if done right. Right now the guy is too reliant on teammates and positioning, and that's not good enough in this game.
it can be pretty good against patrols and monsters/bosses, since the normal crankgun boss damage was nerfed. if you have enough crowd control in your team, and many armored enemies in a mission, then sure, go for it.
@@cazihel I think gromril rounds are good but they are specialized. The times I've used them they were very effective at what I used them for, but as I said their specialized nature means more consideration needs to be given before you decide to bring them over something else.
Good run, my one critique is that you don’t seem to be using his kit to its fullest. You forego the mini gun to use the hammer on hordes, even when you didn’t need to generate temp hp. The mini gun is an extremely powerful horde clearing tool, especially with armor piercing, which you had on. Other than that fantastic work my dude.
I was wondering the reasoning behind doing this. Does the first swing with the cog hammer have an unwritten increased crit chance or increased dmg or something?

yup, you just clic quickly on attack and block in alternance. best use is with the halberd for kruber as it keep the light attack on the cleaving move against horde.

After getting back into V2 recently, provided someone in your team owns a map DLC (e.g. Back to Ubersreik) everyone in your game can play those maps even if they don't own them. However, you cannot unlock the newer weapon patterns unless you own the map DLC. Just a little tip for anyone who doesn't know. Yes, all newer weapons are pay walled.
The beginning of the heavy attack animation is spinning the blade on the head forwards. You hold m1 just long enough to start the animation, and release.

it hs pretty nifty damage falloff. at close range it does musket damage, but after ~10-15m its damage is halved.

If you time your dodges right you can avoid hook rats and assassins indefinitely. Takes a bit of practice tho.

In my opinion, the performance is not enough to destroy the environment. I think the weapons and career performance are well balanced. It's rewarding.

How are you only swinging cog hammer one direction repeatedly, rather than back and forth? Hotkey for this or running a mod?
You can cancel the other swings by tapping block very lightly

Yeah. fundamentally. Just crouching on the side key. I think the others are the default.
