fun video. I played VT2 a lot back in 2018, great to come across it again. I like how simple and intuitive the game is designed and still be fun to watch, about 5 minutes into the video I understood how the new class mechanics work, the talent showcase at the end was straightforward and easy to understand. All in all a much more completed game than Darktide imo.
I agree tho let's not forget Darktide is still early in it's lifecycle. Darktide's recent updates (updated talent trees + the addition of "Auric Maelstrom" difficulty) are definitly making me want to go back once I get my computer upgraded.
@@NSFWTHICCI’ve noticed this too going back to VT2 after playing darktide a lot recently. I think the flexibility and power of the class rework is a little overtuned for the current difficulty settings, since every class can pretty effectively handle every encounter type in a single build. Coming back to VT2 I had forgotten the significant, inherent tradeoffs with the way the weapons and talents work
What are the names of the cosmetics for your coghammer and pistol? I've been looking all over for the name or even pictures of these but I can't find anything.
They're from the weave game mode and normally exclusive to that game mode, tho in modded realm you can use the "give weapon" to use them outside of the weave.
I use "UI Tweaks" and "Dodge Count UI", for UI Tweaks the only change I made was pressure stacks set to "priority" in the buff manager (which put the buff in the middle of the screen), there's a video guide on how to use it on the mod workshop page but here's a quick one: -install UI Tweaks from the steam workshop by subscribing to it -dont forget to enable it and check for dependency mods and load order in the vermintide launcher -load into the keep as outcast engi -press Enter (or whatever key you use to open the chat) -click on Buff Manager (top right corner of the screen) -look for the pressure stack icon and set it to priority (note that for a buff to show in the buff manager it needs to atleast have shown once on your hud before, so shoot your ult and crank it if you cant find the buff in the buff manager)
NGL I find engineer really fun to play when theres nobody else around. You can shoot your ult right away, nobody jumps in front of line of sight and you are forced to stop. Even when you got the wave, there will be no Zealot to charge in and end up getting shredded too with your ult... Sigh... Its challenging to deal with Mino bosses and spawn though.

Vermintide is definately way harder than Darktide now that I have enough hours in Darktide to make that judgment call, all my own opinion of course.

Watching this is incredible. I can barely do champion with bots. its insane watching you play. Well done 💯
you'll get there eventually
The firepower of this dwarf is insane, love it.
outcast engi seems so op when he can use the ult all the time
yup, thanks to the pit funnel spots otherwise deathwish true solo would be just pain

the wave density looks like if it would be recruit instead of legend
My masterwork takes forever to fire - is there a tip for a quick firing?
Press the right mouse button. .-)
Im new to Outcast engineer and i'm looking for the UI mod you used, could you please tell me the mod and if you have your UI settings in a DL form?

-install UI Tweaks from the steam workshop by subscribing to it
-dont forget to enable it and check for dependency mods and load order in the vermintide launcher
-load into the keep as outcast engi
-press Enter (or whatever key you use to open the chat)
-click on Buff Manager (top right corner of the screen)
-look for the pressure stack icon and set it to priority (note that for a buff to show in the buff manager it needs to atleast have shown once on your hud before, so shoot your ult and crank it if you cant find the buff in the buff manager)
@@skeletonirl Thanks so much, also I was wondering how you changed the crosshairs to something usable, is it on the same mod?
@@AppleAirsoft 2 mods, "Crosshair Fix" and "Crosshair Customization" with the Enlagre value at 80%
@@skeletonirl thanks again for all your help
@@skeletonirl unfortunately I dont think the UI mod is working anymore it just gave me an error about load orders.
Why did you waste the conc potion?
i misstook the glow of the lantern for a strenght pot xd, which imo has more value than the conc on engi
