Signal on the left: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 8 inch lights, a Modern Industries mechanical bell, a GRS gate mechanism, and RECO LED gate lights.
Signal on the right: 2 pairs of Modern Industries 8 inch lights, a GRS gate mechanism, and RECO incandescent gate lights.
This crossing is a very nice one, IMHO. It's an almost pure late L&N (1977-1982) install, with only the gates and gate lights having been replaced, and CSX adding the current DOT tags at some point. However, even the current DOT tags are somewhat old as they're the older white ones that used to be very common on CSX lines across the eastern US! The only changes to this crossing since I was out here in 2016 is that the LED gate lights on the left-hand signal now flash, though the gate light on the end is now dead.
    This was the third and final train I caught yesterday. It was a northbound mixed freight with a YN3 Dash-8 leading a YN3 SD70MAC, a CitiRail ES44AC, a YN3 ES44AH, and a YN2 Dash-9!
Also, if this video seems a bit darker than the past two, that's because as I was recording this, the moon had partially eclipsed the sun. And yes, I did watch the eclipse and get photos of it in totality.

Great crossing and catch! Must be one of the nicest crossings I've seen in a while. The driver of that car must have been right at the back of the line when god was handing out brains.

There's a sound you don't hear too much anymore- a GE bronze bell! Ever since the Dash 8s got scrapped, only a handful of the widecab Dash 8s still have that bell which is my personal favorite.

Nice crossing I love the MI bell! CSX still has not fixed or replaced the dead WCH mechanical bell at porter road yet though and I already called them 2 times about it! I wonder what is taking them so long?

How much freight trains drive there in the USA per day on normal train traffics??

Depends on the crossing and what line you're on. For example, this line sees on average 18 daily trains according to the Federal Railroad Administration (FRA). However, the NS Chicago Line (Chicago, IL to Cleveland, OH) sees on average 94 daily trains, according to the FRA. The busiest crossing in my area is Vine Street #1 in Decatur, AL, and it sees on average 50 trains a day, according to the FRA:
      www.rxrsignals.com/Alabama/Decatur/Vine1/
However, there are also plenty of very un-busy lines as well. For example, the Huntsville and Madison County Railroad's line only sees two trains a day on the days that they run. The NS NA District (Sheffield, AL to Birmingham, AL) only sees two trains a day over most of the line on average. The CSX Dothan Subdivision doesn't even have any regular trains assigned to it anymore, outside of a few locals around the ends of the line.
However, I'd say most reasonably busy mainlines see around 15-30 daily trains. Many lines don't see passenger traffic, and a lot of the ones that do probably only see a handful of passenger trains a day. If you find a commuter railroad or light rail line however, that's a different story as those tend to have quite a few passenger trains along them.
