My mother's kitchen has marble countertop installed 40 years ago,with daily meals cooked for several people,handled by cooks and maidservants and still shines like new.
Also I would like to see an updated version of this video including a review of natural quartzite stone countertops with Moh 7 hardness. Also, I would appreciate your views on the availability and suitability of hard quartzite especially Taj Mahal and Macauba.

Sir, for those who have marble (unpolished) countertop, will polishing them not improve their longivity? Ours is deep charcoal marble, which looks almost like unpolished granite. But since its unpolished, it gets dirtied very easily.
