read an interesting little nugget of historical fact... it seems that the settlers traveling west would carry a pane of glass in their buckboards so that when they built their log cabins on their new homestead; well they would be able to look out at this wonderful earth through their very own window. Thank you as always, Len for our little pane of glass and our viewing pleasure!
Len Great job as usual. The pretenders come and they go....but you're still there. Your DVD set is the best Birthday present to myself I've ever bought 😁
You are so good Len. You make it look so easy and I know I need to not try to be perfect. Your painting just flowed. I will try to follow this one. Thank you Len :)
That's a ball tearer Len. What about a gumtree in the corner.( just kidding). This is certainly different from your normal stuff, but I love it!! A change is as good as a holiday as they say :) Thanks mate, keep 'em coming. Dave M ( AUSTRALIA )😎🇦🇺
WOW that was magic! I enjoyed your tutorial so very much. You are an incredible artist as well as an instructor. Thank you much. The painting is beautiful!
Hi Len I started painting a couple of years ago and love it following you on open learning, I stopped and always told myself I want to go back to painting every time I walked past my easel in the dining room. I have just watched this painting of yours and will start again all fired up. Why is it the the enthusiasm is so fickle or is it just me? Thanks for inspiring me again, love you for it!!!! Allan
This is interesting because I've seen a tutorial where she paints the background first and then the window. By the way, I can't wait to paint this! Thank you so much for the video 😊
Len, were you doing painting demonstrations in Wollongong in the late 70's - early 80's? I was watching somebody in our local Mall, Crown Central, doing what you do and I was looking more at the painting than the person doing it. I feel it may have been you.
@@lenhend Thanks Len. Yeah, I figured it was probably you. Never seen anybody else doing it. I was always fascinated by the "Dab-dab" brushstroke. It's like trees appeared from nowhere! Helped me immensely!
I love your art lessons! I have sensory sensitivity and the smell of oil paints makes me uncomfortable. Do you have videos with acrylic or water colors, or can you recommend another TH-cam channel that explains these materials like you do?
TY Len .

It probably was me - nobody except me was doing that in your area.
I went around for 20 years painting in malls and markets - can't remember them all.
@@lenhend Thanks Len. Yeah, I figured it was probably you. Never seen anybody else doing it. I was always fascinated by the "Dab-dab" brushstroke. It's like trees appeared from nowhere! Helped me immensely!

This painting and the last 50 vidios of mine are acrylic paintings. Cheers
O.o Nice!
Thank you Len, I started a window scene a long time ago and never finished it. Did I ask you to paint one? I wonder.... How's the house coming along?
Maybe you did ask me, I can't remember - house all finished thanks.
@@lenhend Thank you Len. I Love it. Can you give us a tour of your new home, maybe?
How have you been Len? Thinking of you and miss seeing you♡
hey lend were did you get the slide easel?
I built it for filming

Len's Blue-Grey period, contrasting his earlier Purple period.
Me. I'm still trying to figure-out what "higgly-piggly" means. HA :)
Or higgledy-piggledy: in a confused, disordered, or random manner
