I was a Boomer on a KC135 out of Niagara Air Base and it was the best job I ever had in my life! I wish I could have refueled on this baby! Best of luck to all you cats on this new tanker and God Speed!
CMSGT Sean Martin is the perfect person to lead the Air Refueling Operator team. I thoroughly enjoyed flying with him, while we were members of the 77th air Refueling Squadron at Seymour Johnson AFB, NC. I could only wish to have had the career he's had. Keep up the good work and I'm looking forward to the KC-46 going to Seymour HOPEFULLY!Carl Sisco, TSgt USAFR Retired
+Kyle The Pro the tankers don't fly directly over combat zones. They do circles out in the safety of controlled airspace and the fighters/bombers fly back and forth between them.
Oupty doo. After billions of dollars spent they managed to pump gas through the pipe from a converted airliner, over budget and behind schedule. I'm not impressed. And these guys wanted the LRSB project based on their cost management. LOL...
The_Communist_ Texan I am not a multi billion mega company with dozens of years of experience and money. They were over budget for fairly simple design, and they hopped to get LRSB contract based on "cost cutting".. Buhaha

Good to see that it's got the pods for the drogue system too. So it can help the Navy when they need it.
It amazes me every time how they manage to latch onto the pipe. Very nice flying.
Awesome video! The importance of tanker has never been so great. Congrats to all that were involved in building this plane :D

Can't wait to see these at Macdill AFB!
Makes me feel warm and fuzzy.
the boom looks just like the one McDonnell Douglas designed for the KC-10. It is a much better boom than Boeing made for the '135.
Es impresionante.
can't wait to see it at it's depot home at Tinker AFB.
bangsonladesh
When the boom is stowed, does the APU exhaust heat up the boom?
Good job!
Very exciting. What's this plane based on? Is this a 767 variant?
+Jonathan Careless Yes.

AIMM M english?
It must be modified the long tail fin into a twin tail fin. More flight stability, less weigh.
I've been in a tanker before at an airshow very spacy

30,000 views, but no one commented anything, ok... Ok... OK
What happens if the f 16 are doing an air strike on Isis and need fuel but Isis then shoots the tanker down?
+Kyle The Pro The tankers only fly in controlled airspace. There's no danger of them being shot down.
+Kyle The Pro Replace with another.
+Kyle The Pro We have hundreds of tankers.

The Justice League will take 2 please.
4 Hours ago! Woa! I'm first AGAIN! Great job Boeing

What is so special about this aerial refueling?
Well, when a passenger plane RUNS OUT OF FUEL, that will Really.REALLY.Help

They should have used the new 787 as the new American tanker. Makes no sense to use the older and less efficient 767.
A dark gray military plane full of fuel and without any windows, where have I seen that before...........
