Magic Kingdom - FIRST Time Riding Tiana's, Peter Pan Closing for Summer, Haunted Mansion & More!

- A fun summer day at Magic Kingdom! We ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure for our FIRST TIME - and get lucky and get to ride twice! We enjoy some favorite rides, including one that's closing for the summer soon, find the first Disney Halloween merch for 2024, use Genie plus for possibly the last time before it goes away, and enjoy the low summer crowds and atmosphere! We start off with our first ride on Tiana's where we ride front row and get soaked, then hop on Peter Pan's Adventure before it closes for the entire rest of the summer, and Haunted Mansion for a lovely, spooky cool off, before riding Tiana's for a second time and getting to soak in so many more details of this new ride! We find the first piece of Disney Halloween merchandise for 2024 at The Emporium, enjoy the low summer crowds, catch some characters on floats and soak in the lovely Magic Kingdom summer atmosphere! This is possibly our last time using Genie+ before Walt Disney World switches to the new Lightning Lane Multipass system, and we enjoy some rides and share the ride POVS. Lots more theme park updates coming soon, so much is changing so fast and I love to share all the updates with you!

I love Princess and the Frog! I’m so happy it finally got a ride, and the animatronics look amazing! I love how it had the songs we know and love playing throughout as well!
It’s so refreshing to see someone actually love Tiana’s Bayou Adventure as a lot of the reviews I see here on TH-cam is that the ride sucks and that Disney should’ve never replaced Splash Mountain.

Somehow I missed this video last week. Glad you got to ride Tiana's. Hope you get to ride it at night sometime when it is lit up with colored lights. I really enjoyed this whole video. It was just so relaxing to watch and listen to.
I don't get why they choose Summer for ANY ride maintenance times, that's when most people are likely to be at the parks, and should be when all rides are up and running, schedule maintenance for January - march or stagger it through September and November, but leave spring break, summer, Halloween and Christmas alone to ensure maximum availability outside of unplanned problems.

I do hate the idea that Disney charges you a high price to get into the park and then forces you to pay again to ride their top attractions too. This is a shameless money grab. ALL attractions should have a walk-up stand by line. Universal has a paid "lightning lane" system too....but they ALSO still allow you to wait in a long line for EVERY attraction if you choose. Disney really got GREEDY on this idea.
Yea. The thing is that other parks all across the country, including Universal, have a much higher priced “express/quick queue” type thing. But the higher price means less people use it so it’s a better value for everyone. And yes I talked about in the vid that I am not a fan of rides not having a standby line available and now we have 3 rides in WDW u can’t wait in a standby line for (all 3 do have a free option w the virtual queue, but it’s hard to get and goes instantly at 7am), and I hope that changes soon!
😂🤣🤣😆😆 the lies u tell all of disney attractions of options u can stand in a long line if u want and the paid options for Disney is way cheaper than universal and other theme parks
When Disneyland opened you had to pay to get in and then pay for tickets to go on rides. They had 0 stand by lines no extra ticket no ride. That’s where the E Ticket Attractions saying comes from. They also have the free Virtual Queue (hard for some to get I understand but it’s not an extra charge) also the lighting lane tickets aww way cheaper than any other park. An express pass at Dollywood starts at $85 per day and last year when I was in Universal during Halloween? They wanted $260 for their express pass for one day. I would rather pay 30 and have to use my phone than pay that much to skip a line.

@SuperEnthused I've got built in guides who have me all sorted. We have Genie plus, and they have a magic band for me. You'll start seeing stuff from them very soon as they are moving to Orlando from Dallas area in a couple weeks. Their channel is GoTeam Adventures. They're good people.

I can’t believe the crowd levels are so low . I have been hearing from several other videos that the parks are very empty. I wonder why? Maybe the heat? I'm so excited that you got to ride it twice! I love Haunted Mansion, I didn't get to ride it last month, but we're going for our 35 anniversary . Going to MNSSHP and definitely will ride it then. Thanks for taking us along.

OK, first of all, my heart is broken. I was looking all over for that ghost shirt when I was there this past weekend and could not find it anywhere. I’m just gonna have to resort to buying it from a reseller. Did you end up getting it?
Also, we rode Tiana, after three days we were finally able to get the virtual queue and then it went down for two hours, but when we finally got to ride it, it was literally a walk on. It was amazing!

Jackie, off topic but what a great weekend for British sport! Did you and Sam go to the park after the grand prix or did you tape it to watch when you got home?
They really need to fill in those blank spots and then this ride would be cute! It will never be Splash 💦 but it could be a great ride if they would stop being cheap on their end while gouging us on our end ugh!!!

yea just the bayou water scene, I show more of it on our second ride, the steamy other side. Both sides of the boat have pretty bayou theming. The log with the two frogs too.
Love you Jackie and love the vlogs, but personally sooo disappointed with Tianna's Bayou Adventure. There was huge potential and I was so excited when they announced the re-theme, but what a missed opportunity! The only really well executed scene IMO is the finale room (when Tianna's body is working!!)
Thanks for all love on the vlogs! I've been seeing a range of reactions to Tiana's, and I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. I know it can be disappointing when a beloved ride changes, and I understand your perspective. Overall, I genuinely enjoyed my experience on the new ride. While there were a few hiccups (like Tiana's arms in the finale - which I didn't even notice until seeing the footage later because of how I was looking around at everything!), I'm still excited about this new addition to the park. It was heartwarming to see so many people enjoying themselves and having fun. I'm looking forward to seeing how the ride evolves!

It’s a mystery for the ages! Like it’s a cute dark ride, but still.
No but really, between the slow loading, small flying vehicles that only fit a few guests, and the fact that it’s accessible for small kids and people who can’t always handle other rides, I think those are big factors.
I will be going on monday will i be able to ride tba using the virtual q or dose it fill up super fast i am worried i wont be able to ride
It goes really fast at 7am so be ready with your phone with the app open and the virtual queue screen, with your party selected, at like 6:58am and keep refreshing until it comes up to grab it fast! Good luck!!

Tiana's Bayou looks very cool! Have not been on it since we were stuck/ evacuated (Disneyland, Splash Mountain), but I may have to try the new ride. Poor Sam looks soooo wet after the second ride! I think Haunted Manion is probably my favorite ride. Especially the one in Disneyland at Christmas! Thanks for your awesome videos!

Yea it def needs to be seen in person! We dried out like instant,y the sun is soooooo hot and the heat radiates off the asphalt too, so it's instant.

Yes they added it to genie+ as if opening day on June 28 is my understanding. It was VQ only for Passholder previews.

We are already figuring out some strategies for our visit.
I asked in the Disney app chat about overlapping bookings for the new system & they said yes as long as there is 20 minutes in between. We are staying on property so we will do our bookings 7 days ahead.
On our 1st day we are driving in from Destin & will get to EPCOT around 1 so we are going to book Remy for later in the day & book 2 rides we don't care about for park open & shortly after - let those expire (bc we will be driving) & try to book Frozen & Soaring - so we walk into the park with all 3 of the top tier rides before they are gone!!
