Tips for Getting to Ride Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Walt Disney World

- As of right now, there is still a Virtual Queue in place for Tiana's Bayou Adventure at Magic Kingdom. That means you can't just walk up and get in line like most attractions at Walt Disney World. But unlike other rides with a Virtual Queue, you can't purchase an Individual Attraction Lightning Lane for this one. Oh, and did we mention that everything is changing July 24? Things are a little complicated right now, but don't worry - they'll get more normal soon and this video will help get you up to speed in the meantime. Plus, at the end of the video, we'll share our supercut ride-through of Tiana's and show you why it is our new favorite ride in Magic Kingdom! (Don't worry, we'll give you plenty of notice before it starts so you don't have to worry about spoilers.)

They really need to get rid of the boarding groups for TRON and Guardians now - it’s been well over a year for TRON and over two for Guardians. Just let people line up normally! Making people choose between Tiana’s and TRON or pay extra is ridiculous and unfair.
Disney wants to keep riding that FOMO money train. Can't get a VQ then you gotta pay to ride or you don't even get to ride.
While I also wish we could just jump in line normally for those rides, I wonder how that would really pan out. From my experience, I got a later boarding group for TRON (I entered the queue around 9:30 pm). While I was happy that I was going to get to ride at nighttime, the VQ was so backed up from breaking down before that the line took longer than an hour. It seems crazy that disney limits the number of people who can join an attraction, and the line is still over an hour sometimes. That was the only time I did VQ but it makes me think the standby line would be incredibly long if it existed and that the LL's would run out instantly. I would like those rides to be standby and LL but I am curious how that would pan out.
It’s definitely time for Guardians to go, especially with Test Track closed. That said, I prefer the shorter wait that sometimes comes with a Virtual Queue (though not always).

On July 5 I reserved a lightning lane for Tiana at 7am while my wife did virtual queue for Tron. Then at 1pm we got a virtual queue for Tiana, so we got to ride twice. Good tips and content!
Great video as ever. Something I found when "tapping like a crazy person" for the virtual queue was if I pressed it too quickly it didn't do a proper refresh. However if I pressed it say once per second then it would refresh fully, which is pretty crucial when you get literally seconds to join it.
Interesting. We haven’t had that issue, but it may depend on the phone and whether you have a screen protector, etc. The good thing is that you can tell as you are tapping when it recognizes your tap so you can adjust accordingly before the big moment arrives. Thanks for letting us know!

Last I heard, they were not including Tiana’s in Extended Evening Hours. Were you able to ride?
@@EarScouts Nope. There was no VQ or standby line which was a bummer. But we got a Tron VQ instead, and we’ll try for Tiana’s tomorrow morning. :)
Thank you for the great tips you always share with us. I really like your channel. Without you, a lot of people are lost! Your video’s helped our visit in march to be less frustrating. Typical Disney, when people start to understand the system “genie+” they change it in something else. Hate also the fact that they force you to buy genie+ or to let you be the idiot to tap like a crazy person to expierence the new rides. The fact that they let in to many Lightning lanes so the regular line doesnt move an inch is really frustrating also. The park could be so magical but their policy frustrate a lot of visitors. The only Disney park that didnt frustrate us was animal kingdom
I'll be there in late Sept so will just pick it for Multi Pass.

I'm going the day after the switch - very nervous that there'll be kinks in the system that get in the way. I was JUST getting the hang of Genie+ haha! I'm sort of confused because I'm staying on property the 24th, doing the parks the 25th, but I'm guessing I won't be able to make my reservations 7 days in advance... So not sure how that'll work out but! Hoping to get on Tiana's - it's why we're going!
Does anyone remember how it was to stand in lines, no fast passes, no vq's etc? We've been going to Disney annually when there was only MK and EPCOT. There were no phones to keep us entertained while waiting, we actually talked to each other and the folks in line with us, enjoying the interesting ques. Waiting was just what we did, and we always had amazing vacations. Now it just seems like all the real disney magic is gone, replaced with staring at our phones so we could save time standing in line. I get it, disney is expensive and we all want to get the most bang for our buck, but the human element is being stripped away from the park experience. Its really sad.
We hear that a lot and we know it is frustrating for a lot of people. I did want to share that it is still possible to enjoy the parks and only use the regular standby queues. Once it comes off the Virtual Queue, it should be pretty easy to ride in the evening using the standby queue - especially during fireworks.
I set alarms for life in general I tend to forget or maybe napping😮😅
Once it changes to Lightning Lane multi pass, can you purchase that in advance as then we can book 3 or 7 days in advance depending on where you are staying? So you can book multi pass LL before purchasing the pass or do you purchase the LL multi pass 3 or 7 days prior to first book your tier 1 and 2 LL?
Something has to be done about the pressure of purchasing additional rides after paying $150 just to enter. I get the park is fun and immersive but still attractions are slim for the price paid
Things definitely add up pretty quickly at WDW, but I wanted to make sure you knew that you can ride every attraction (including Tiana) without paying extra. You’ll just have to use the free “Virtual Queue” system until it changes over to having a regular standby queue. Thanks for watching!
On July 24th - if the VQ is still going on for Tiana’s - do you recommend hitting the VQ or trying to get the LL Multipass for it? I’m staying at the Poly and of course my MK day is exactly 7 days from the 24th 🤪🤦🏼♀️
I know we don’t know much yet, but with the new lightning lane change, can you only book 3 LLs total for your trip, or do you think it’s a per-day thing prior to arrival?

Hi Rob! I am a little confused. You can only join one virtual queue for the day or per ride? I’m trying to figure out then if you can join Tiana’s queue at 7 and then join tron’s queue at 1 pm or 6pm if staying at a qualifying hotel? Thank you!

We would like to book both the Tyana adventure ride and Tron at the same time at 7am using the same account on the Disney app. Can we do that? I was going to book the tron and my wife was going to book the Tyana ride at 7am at the same time using the same account on the app. Is that possible?
Hello! Unfortunately you won’t be able to book 2 different VQ’s at the same time. Also, you will only be able to book another one after you use the first one. My recommendation will be for you to book Tiana’s first and with any luck, if your boarding group for Tiana’s gets call before 1 pm, you will be able to book the VQ for Tron at 1 pm.
So basically you telling me that i have to choose between Tron and Tiana on Virtual Que , i cant get both at the same day , but for example can i do a virtual q at 7pn and another on at 1pm if i want to join tiana at 1pm n tron at 7pm can i do that ?
You can only hold one virtual queue spot at a time. So you could get Tiana’s at 7am and Tron at 1pm BUT ONLY if your boarding group has been called by 1pm. If you get Tiana in the morning, but your group isn’t called until 2pm, you wouldn’t be able to get a virtual queue spot for Tron unless it still had availability at 2pm.

Hello! Yes, you can definitely try to do this. Your boarding group for Tiana’s needs to be called before 1 pm so you can tap-in and then you can try to join the VQ for Tron right at 1 pm.
