  • I hate to break it to you, but there is no such thing as the perfect partner.
In today's world of dating, it's easy to get caught up in finding someone who checks all the boxes on your "ideal partner" checklist. But the truth is, focusing too much on superficial qualities-like having the right job, the perfect body, or the same interests-can actually prevent you from forming a genuine, lasting connection. No one is perfect, and expecting perfection is one of the biggest mistakes people make when looking for love.
This is why, in the third video of my "So… You Want to Find Love" series, I’m tackling the myth of the perfect partner. Instead of being guided by a rigid checklist, I explain why you should focus on having relationship standards. Checklists often fixate on surface-level traits, while true standards revolve around core values like emotional intelligence, integrity, and shared life goals.
By shifting your mindset from a checklist mentality to embracing true standards, you open yourself up to authentic connections. You deserve someone who aligns with your values and enhances your life, not just someone who ticks the boxes. Watch this week's episode to learn how letting go of your checklist can help you find real, lasting love.
    It all starts with you.
