I have played about 5 rounds. 11 over, 1 over, 6 over, 1 under, 7 over. Every round is gonna be interesting for sure! It's definitely rewarding when you make a birdie. I liked the old swing timing mechanics when it was working but it was so inconsistent with calibration/ controller issues. This takes that out of it.
I know, why better it needs more work, my wife hates the one chest size for females and I want more caddie customisation and more swing animations for Driving
Thank you so much for the kind words Josh!!! That means so much! This was one of the most challenging videos I have ever edited and produced on my channel, so you just made my day! Appreciate you @JoshAudiss!
Best video I have seen yet, wow thanks for the in-depth analysis and break down of the swing mechanic, also I didn't even notice I could move my character in the tee box. Earned a sub and look forward to more videos.
These changes could definitely make it a great game. I left 2K 21 because they stopped tracking stats. I couldn’t get into 2K 23 because the shot was so inconsistent but this looks promising.
PGA Tour 2k25 in my PC. Specs: Intel 19-13900k CPU; 64GB ram: Sapphire Nitro+ RX 7900 XTX GPU. Running game at 4k resolution with all graphics settings turned up as high as they can go. FPS is circa 85 - 100fps (frame generation technology not enabled). No lagging, crashes etc. Am playing with Pro level. Getting used to the long clubs quite well. Need to work on shots with irons, and bunker shots. For me the swing model mechanics/physics is much improved on 2k23. Using an XBOX Elite Controller. Interested to read about others experiences PC and consoles.
Ha! Thanks for the call-out from that last video Ryan! I'm glad you took it as sarcasm. You asked what PC players are seeing, so I thought I'd provide my setup, 2K25's settings, and what FPS I'm getting. Note: You NEED to see this game on PC!!!! PC SPECS - Note: my PC is a little over 4 years old and I'm planning to build a new one this year to replace it. AMD Ryzen 9 5900X | EVGA RTX 3080 FTW | 32GB of DDR4-3600 | Samsung 980 M.2-2280 NVMe SSD PGA 2K25 Demo Settings 4K @ 240Hz | Vsync ON | Anti-Aliasing TAA High | Upscaling Off | Quality Ultra | All Advanced Graphics settings maxed out I played the 10th hole on TPC Scottsdale and averaged 90-95 FPS with this hardware and 2K25 set at those settings.
Yeah!!! I missed it as well in my first round @brubie7584! It was @ruddog1545 here on the channel who pointed it out to me in a comment on my video playing the demo!
I just hit the cap on the Demo, Level 10. You can still earn VC. 2 Holes in one on 12. I like how the crowd reacts when you hit into them. They are more animated than 23. I like everything about it so far. Maybe 50 9 hole rounds so far. Running on a Legion Laptop with a 4070 runs great, I hope the full game runs this well. I'll try it with my 4080 Super Ultra wide screen Dasktop. See if it looks better.
Loving all this new content. Great video here that took some awesome editing and time…played the demo several times and excited to learn this new swing
Thank you, Ryan for all the 2K25 content! Played a round today and I definitely need to improve the swing. The graphics are awesome! Can’t wait for the full game. Hopefully my swing will be ready for launch! Let’s Go!!
Been playing since the golf club days, it’s nice to see how far HB studios has come. Just dove into the demo today, really liked the new single, graphics, menus, etc. not to mention I’m pretty excited about the new features, modes etc. its hard for me to find any negatives with the game so far, so I’ll be nit picky. As we’re learning the new swing, it would be nice if they had an option to turn on in the beginning that would leave your results from the previous swing up so you could instantly understand where you went wrong. Anyways, thanks for the video it’s really informative. Always watching your stuff. Cheers!
They've made almost all the changes I wanted after 2k23. The new EvoSwing is such a massive gameplay improvement. Now if they'd only remove the microtransactions...
I played it on PS5 and it is definitely an improvement. I was already getting birdies and eagles because the swing system felt so natural. Graphically it is also an improvement over 2K23, it looks fantastic. 2K always brought the smoke when it came to gameplay, even against EA's offering, trust me, I had both and I found 2K23 way more enjoyable gameplay wise. Not to mention the sheer amount of user created content 2K allows? There's no contest whatsoever. HB really has come into their own ever since their Golf Club days.
It's nice they put two years and actually improve a game unlike the NBA 2k trash franchise. It also looks like micro-transactions may be limited in this game.
PC performance for me is flawless, Running on AMD 5900X with a Radeon Nitro Sapphire 7900 XTX and 32g RAM on 4K 120hz with graphic settings maxed. ROG Raikiri controller. Loving the new graphics, ball physics and swing mechanic, it's really great fun when you make good swings and execute the shot you envisioned. Such a cool idea to release a demo so we can start building our player ready for the full game.
i was playing with my PC today, the Performance was not perfect but still good, 70-110 FPS, Graphic all on High settings, 1440p no vsync. And it felt somehow less jittery than 2k23 My setup: RTX 2080 Super i7-9700k 32 GB Ram
I have the exact same build, running everything High except grass, water, and clouds which i have on ultra. DLSS on balanced and Supersampling on 125%, also on 1440p no vsync running at a very stable 90-110 fps
As usual, great video and great information. Keep bringing the information , it is definitely appreciated!! I already see that I need to work on my swing but I am going to enjoy doing it! Releasing the demo before launch was a great idea!
I've played the demo on PC, I have a 3080 graphics card, and it performed pretty well, there were the odd moments of stutters though. I'd say once every 5-10 minutes! Looking forward to the 21st Feb!
I’ve been a big fan of EA Sports PGA tour over 2K but I am definitely buying this game. While I still think EA looks better and in some cases is better mechanically, I really liked the feeling of this game. The evo mechanic is interesting and I look forward to grinding this game.
I have played the 2K25 demo a good amount and I like it a lot! I like the new EvoSwing more than I expected and it’s a fun challenge. In all honesty, I was a bit nervous about it but it is definitely a huge improvement to their swing mechanic from 2K25 and blows EA’s swing mechanic out of the water! I’m pumped for February 21st since I pre-ordered the Legend Edition and super excited with what they have added to their game for this year! So many new features and bringing in the 3 majors (excluding the Masters since EA has the Exclusive rights for it) is huge!!! I don’t know if this is confirmed yet but man, I will be a happy man if you can swap courses in MyCareer for any 2K official course and User Created courses out there (instead of having a limited amount to choose from) whenever you want to mix up your season schedule for MyCareer. Like we know you can make a fully customizable PGA Tour Schedule with any course in the game (2K official or User Created courses) in Societies so I don’t see why you couldn’t do that in MyCareer, especially for swapping courses! Like I know in MyCareer you can’t change the name of the tournaments like you could in Societies but having this option would be awesome and so much fun for MyCareer
13:30 Not only does it look better, it feels better. 2k23, I would feel stutters sometimes and 2k25 feels smooth as butter. Ive even maxed graphics expecting to feel some jitter, but its still running smooth. Ive never been really good at keeping my swings right for long and now I have bias to mess with me more LOL. Oh well, I still have fun playing
Hi Ryan, another great video, thank you. I have a couple of comments regarding 2K V’s EA. After playing EA exclusively for a long time and now playing 2K, the latter is much better. From what I’ve seen in the demo and also playing 2K23 which they gave me for free, EA is better in only one area. The crowd noise is better in EA. You really notice it at TPC Scottsdale when you enter the stadium on hole 16. EA have managed to make the crowd much louder and the golfers even play up to the crowd when they enter the stadium, just like they do in real life. I know this is only a little thing but it would have been nice. Anyway, I am now a fully fledged 2K convert and can’t wait for the full game.
Yes I'm actually stoked that you can now move the player on the tea box. I whinged and complained about PGA Tour EA sports not being able to do that and it was a gimmick because sometimes they would put a tree on the right hand side and you had to hitaround the tree, it was stupid.
All in all it does look an upgrade though , particularly like the look of the revised swing mechanics ; is it available on older xbox (my xbox one s) or do you need next gen?
Awesome video Ryan! I built a super nice PC a couple months ago (7800X3d + 4080 Super +64 GB RAM) and it is insanely smooth and beautiful. I will get a frame rate when I fire it up here in a minute
Tried pro difficulty this morning. I'm trying to understand why the game naturally has me aiming left (I have a draw shot shape), and then when I swing it goes to the right of where I'm aiming. After a couple of bogeys, double-bogeys, I did manage to get an eagle, only to follow it up with a triple bogey lol.
It's so lame of them to not give early access to the standard edition pre-order which I got just to get the expense out of the way.. But I can make my character in the demo so I'm excited now anyway! 😊
Cant wait until we get the full game. The swing feels so satisfying when you get a perfect perfect. Only downgrade imo is putting but it still isnt bad. 2k may have been onto something here
Need things like choke down on the grip, altering tee height for shots, better sponsor system like getting sponsors should be more difficult and when you do get sponsored the clubs should be gifted to you like in real life.
I have a question about the ball icon that’s spinning in the right hand screen! How do you turn the rotation of the ball! I hold left bumper and move the right stick but how do you spin side way? Love your streams!
Very much looking forward to playing , but the download from Steam has been very slow for me unfortunately. Still going now after 5 hours. If it takes this long to download the demo, looks like I'm going to have to wait a full day or more while the full game downloads.
@@GamerAbility I'm sure I will have fun Ryan. It really is slow honestly. I have a pretty fast wireless broadband connection, and downloads from Steam are usually reasonably quick. Don't understand whats going on with it tonight. Possibly the bandwidth is being overloaded by people downloading at the same time.
At first I did not like the diagonal swing. Then I disabled it in settings and made it like last year’s game and now I absolutely love the game straight up and down like before. Plus all the information displayed knowing what you’re doing wrong? Is a game changer. I did notice something on the series X when the ball is flying I noticed screen tearing. Did you have the same issue? Other than that I’m loving it
Surely even with the distance control assist off you just look at the shot feedback circle at the bottom and that tells you how far to swing the club back for wherever you've placed your marker??
these new games are so hard to play i just dont wanna buy anymore, back in 2010 i was playing on the hardest difficutiles and i could go -16 and stuff now i cant hardly hit any ball straight
21 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
You somehow forgot to mention that you are REQUIRED to have an account with 2K to be able to even load the thing.
As in 2k23 I use the greenskeeper on 2k25 as I'm playing. I'm not happy with the fact that I'm limited on my shot types. For instance, I love the pic shot but according to you, if I'm on greenskeeper I can't get that shot. I would like you to compare 2k25 to EA Sports PGA Tour golf road to the Masters because on that game I've got every shot that's available
All his technology we have. And the grass stays stiff when hitting the rough. Ball physics are still stiff from golf club. And the swinging isn’t even different. Hot shots is still king
I was playing on pro on ps5 and I’d hit perfect shots but my club face would be “open” or “closed” and I could never hit shots where I wanted them what determines if it’s open or closed
I like the new PGA2k25 game and feel of it, but I have admit that I still enjoy playing EA’s PGA tour, it feels more immersive with presentation and graphically still holds up better than PGA2K25. When you play the waste management course in EA hole 16 listen to the crowd and their reaction and look at it graphically against PGA 2K 25 you tell me what’s better. Just saying it not all better, this is why I like having more than one golf game! 😊 options baby!
yep it is really hard tougher and challenging...all are diferent .they change the gameplay to be more realistic and challenging.. as i had 2500hr in PGA2K23..when i 1st try for few hr in PGA2K23 i feels it enjoyable and fun easy to learn..but this PGA2K25 ,i had try it for 2 hrs the demo ..it still tough n hard for me..
This is how it should be putting demos out before the release of the game
Yeah man because of the demo, I bought the game. I love it. Already put hours into the demo
This is a brilliant breakdown of the new features. Had no idea about the tee box feature. So amped for this new game. Thanks Ryan
I was glad to pre order the game after playing the demo; this should be the new standard in the video game industry
Swing stick only in ranked play is a great change in TK25, So glad this has been brought in..
I love the game but the player creation still isn’t great in this demo. I hope the full game offers more options.
I know, why better it needs more work, my wife hates the one chest size for females and I want more caddie customisation and more swing animations for Driving
Remember for everyone saying it's hard, remember your created golfer is 65 OVR. It will get easier as you level up your golfer.
6:32 Fortunately I locked it as Powerhouse in 2k23, but with fittings and easier difficulties, I could still play like a technician
This is your best informative video yet!! Great work and great information!

Yeah I think they are definitely a little better. I still kind of prefer EA PGA Tour grapghics though. That's just mo
Game looks like ass. Go look at the ea game and come back with that with that comment
It’s way better than 2k23
It's nice they put two years and actually improve a game unlike the NBA 2k trash franchise. It also looks like micro-transactions may be limited in this game.
Thank you for the update and information Ryan! Much appreciated. I will be buying the standard full version for Ps5 when it launches.

Same here! So awesome they put out a demo for the game!!!
Thanks Ryan! Looking for more content, tips and such! Keep up the awesome vids!
I’m doing a break par challenge moving through each difficulty until I break par. I can’t break par on Pro difficulty. 😂 my best is +4 😂.
Love that Chris! Very nicely done with the +4! This game is so tough!
I was the one that posted a week ago that I wanted a game that celebrates pars. WELL! I’m celebrating pars right now. 😂
I've played the demo on PC, I have a 3080 graphics card, and it performed pretty well, there were the odd moments of stutters though. I'd say once every 5-10 minutes! Looking forward to the 21st Feb!

Great video! Makes me hyped to download it and get started. Once the weekend hits work stops play begins! (Btw is there a time limit to the demo)
No time limit
13:30 Not only does it look better, it feels better. 2k23, I would feel stutters sometimes and 2k25 feels smooth as butter. Ive even maxed graphics expecting to feel some jitter, but its still running smooth. Ive never been really good at keeping my swings right for long and now I have bias to mess with me more LOL. Oh well, I still have fun playing
Hi Ryan, another great video, thank you. I have a couple of comments regarding 2K V’s EA. After playing EA exclusively for a long time and now playing 2K, the latter is much better. 14:00 Sorry , genuinely see no graphical difference ; just looks like 2k23 is being played at darker settings or in shadows.
I got my back swing plane but if you miss that square on the downswing boy it really slice that ball haha
Fantastic Games!!!
Great content...thank you for the updates.
Yes I'm actually stoked that you can now move the player on the tea box. I whinged and complained about PGA Tour EA sports not being able to do that and it was a gimmick because sometimes they would put a tree on the right hand side and you had to hitaround the tree, it was stupid.
tee not tea lol
All in all it does look an upgrade though , particularly like the look of the revised swing mechanics ; is it available on older xbox (my xbox one s) or do you need next gen?
Hey brother! I am wanting to start streaming from Xbox to TH-cam. Do you use a capture card when you stream? Thanks!
Works great on PC with mouse and key input! Absolutely obsessed!!
Awesome video Ryan! I built a super nice PC a couple months ago (7800X3d + 4080 Super +64 GB RAM) and it is insanely smooth and beautiful. I will get a frame rate when I fire it up here in a minute
Thank you @mbonocore! Appreciate you! That is awesome you built a high end gaming PC!!! Let's go!!! Glad it is running smooth!
Running at consistent 60fps on 4k with every setting on Ultra. Haven’t had one stutter. It’s so smooth
Great video! Do you have any early thoughts on what the best architype is?
Tried pro difficulty this morning. I'm trying to understand why the game naturally has me aiming left (I have a draw shot shape), and then when I swing it goes to the right of where I'm aiming. Cant wait until we get the full game. The swing feels so satisfying when you get a perfect perfect. Only downgrade imo is putting but it still isnt bad. 2k may have been onto something here
Great video. Game runs perfectly on PC, RTX 3080ti.
Can you play online with friends as actual golfers? Or is it still only your golfer and only the host can choose a pga player?
Can you preview the green on an approach shot like in ea sports pga tour? In Ea, with the camera, you can see the slopes on the greens.
Is there multiplayer online career?
Need things like choke down on the grip, altering tee height for shots, better sponsor system like getting sponsors should be more difficult and when you do get sponsored the clubs should be gifted to you like in real life.

Is online set to Pro difficulty?
Thx but how to shot a big hook or a big slice in case we need it????
Will it run at 60fps in quality mode on ps5 pro?

Surely even with the distance control assist off you just look at the shot feedback circle at the bottom and that tells you how far to swing the club back for wherever you've placed your marker??
friend worked on this game!
Will it be compatible with the ps move?
Any news on graphics/performance for PS5 Pro?
Where's the course list? One of the more crucial bits of information for a golf game.
Here are all the courses in the game: pgatour.2k.com/2k25/courses/
If only they can make a VR option 😭
Could you do a tutorial on the replay mode for Xbox and what each button does on the controller. Thanks ⛳️
these new games are so hard to play i just dont wanna buy anymore, back in 2010 i was playing on the hardest difficutiles and i could go -16 and stuff now i cant hardly hit any ball straight

TH-cam doesn't do the graphics justice. It looks a lot better than this. I'm playing on a PC w/ 4080 Super video card.
I tried to slow the swing down but it doesn’t work. How can it be adaptive Ryan. Can you include how to do this on your next video?
You shouldve been at the promo event
I was playing on pro on ps5 and I’d hit perfect shots but my club face would be “open” or “closed” and I could never hit shots where I wanted them what determines if it’s open or closed
Hey Ryan
Where did you get that player shirt?
Go to options, hit Redeem locker code and type in FULLSWING
It will give you shoes, pants, and a polo!
Two other codes are HELLOGOLFER & TEEOFF
Add LVLUP as well
i played on PC and the game runs great Graphics are Amazing as Well
Love to hear that! That is awesome! What graphics card and CPU are you playing on?
@@GamerAbility Graphics Card is Geforce RTX 4060 And my CPU is a Ryzen 7 5000 Series
I have RTX 3060 12GB with 11600KF & 16GB Ram and graphics are way better in 2K25 than 2K23, it's like night & day.
Nothing on the mixed gender career mode? Please tell me they got rid of that , its not happening in real life so why is it in this game?
Is 2k25 harder than 23
I think putting is harder
yep it is really hard tougher and challenging...all are diferent .they change the gameplay to be more realistic and challenging.. as i had 2500hr in PGA2K23..when i 1st try for few hr in PGA2K23 i feels it enjoyable and fun easy to learn..but this PGA2K25 ,i had try it for 2 hrs the demo ..it still tough n hard for me..
Well I won’t be playing ranked lol
the demo gets a 9.5 review from me.
I play on a pretty high end gaming PC with 60FPS its great
What about weather? Never played 2k golf game before
