Can you answer this question ASAP? I broke the protective glass on my s10+ but the touchscreen is completely fine and the device functions as normal. I found a replacement on amazon for $30 and am wondering if that is all I need for the repair. Is the digitizer in need of replacement as well? Thank you so much!!

Hello, I have 2 s10 Galaxy phones, one has a broken screen. Can I just replace the motherboards? I wouldn't play with the screen, it's too sensitive. I only need pictures and videos. And that's all on the motherboard? Am I right? Thanks in advance for the answer.
A service team told me usually if they try to do it , probably will have Bubles on the curved edges, they said is necessary a "balloon" but you did it with regular sponge, what is the trick?
To the person watching this, if you can't do this then you might as well get you a whole new phone because where I live the replacement is around 300-500. Just as much to buy a new one.
I never knew that s10 has that much small bezels without the glass. IDK why they (Samsung) used that much thick bezels, if they could decrease it, specially the chin.
What are the chances that Cambo's phone is broken EXACTLY, I mean to within a millimeter of, where mine broke yesterday? If it weren't for the Chinese characters, that could be my phone.
Reason they use specialized ovens or heating plates is to get an even temperature all over the glass where the glue is and so that they can set a specific temp so that it doesnt get so hot that it can break other components on the phone because of the heat. If you do this using a hair dryer or heat gun you just got to make sure you spread the heat around evenly and touch the phone sometimes to check that it doesnt get to hot. And as you start to remove sections of the glass where the glue is more softened up, stick thin things inbetween the glass and the phone that can be temporarily jammed there so that when you keep trying to get different parts loose, the previous work is still intact. And if the glue isnt loose enough and gives you a hard time removing different spots, then take the hairdryer/heat gun and heat up the specific area as to where the glue is still stuck. Its tidious work but not hard, just got to stay patience and it will com off fairy easy. NB: just spread the heat out evenl from a small distance away from the phone while also pointing it towards the edge of the glass where the glue is, so that the glue slowly stops working and thereby you can get an small suction cup that you can place on the glass you are trying to remove so that you have upwards pressure from glass/glue that you are trying toReason they use specialized ovens or heating plates is to get an even temperature all over the glass where the glue is and so that they can set a specific temp so that it doesnt get so hot that it can break other components on the phone because of the heat. Its tidious work but not hard, just got to stay patience and it will com off fairy easy. NB: just spread the heat out evenly from a small distance separeted from the glass on phone, the area you want to be focusing the heat on is around the edge of the glass, it is under the glass edge that you will find the glue/tape that holds them together. Now, having an suctiun cup to put on the glass will gives you some leveredge, because as you are lifting/light force with the suction cup, it will help the whole glass loosening in the areas where you heated properly and made the glue looses its job. And have guitarpicks/thinmetal or other items that will help pry bigger gap between the glass and the phone, they wiil be handy when the suction cup pulls up and reveal where you can start using exm. Guitarpick to pin inbetween gaps that came from upwards stress that is fixed with.a suction cup that can lift the entire glass. So all you gotta do as the glass comes slowly up, then all you got to do is slowly drag a pick, sharp thin knife or other examples you can find to cut away the glue that is between the phone and glass as the suction cup lifts it up and shows the gaps that wiil show itself, and that where you start slicing into the glue. Its an really easy job, dont stress it or overthink it, if you follow these advices you should be easily able to do that. And dont try to force the glass off, it will only lead to tention and stress which will result in a broken glass. just take your time and if it gets harder to loosen as you go then just apply heat gently to that spefic spot and around it and then keep going getting the rest lose. Its mainly rinse and repeat😉😊
this is not right you cant just use glue ,need to use double side tape ,only use glue will be easy to broke cause its too thin between the lcd and frame
you have restored my confidence in repairing phones lol

Wow, that's a lot of work. No way I can do this myself 😂

They made it complicated on purpose, to make money off of people spending 300 dollars to get their glass replaced.
Según q se puede pero necesita las herramientas adecuadas y las máquinas. Y la experiencias. Felicidades excelente trabajado.
