Yes girl! Preach! 🙌 I just celebrated my 2nd anniversary and it has been an amazing ride so far! We get the kid question too especially since A. We bought a house and B. There has been a little baby boom at church. 🙈 One thing I learned VERY early in marriage, (like Honeymoon) was that my husband is a 3 meal a day man! 3 separate, distinct, meals. Before marriage, I would eat one or two meals with snacks in between. That was a change for sure! Love that you saved yourself for marriage too. I’m so glad the Lord helped me save myself for my husband. It makes intimacy so much more special. Thanks for sharing!
NOTaboutaMEn my fiance folds like that too lol and I had to ask him tips on how to wash my fluffy clothes because when I washed them I'd ruin them. Now I just take some of my clothes over to his house when he washes all day on Sundays and slip them in his basket lol!

Love this! Like you, I had never had a boyfriend before my husband. I was 36 when we met, and then we were married slightly under a year later. We just celebrated our first anniversary, and some of these observations are on point! I think we've finally learned each other's methods of folding various types of laundry so we can have our own clothes the way we each like them. We have a Purple mattress too, and we love it! For years I've enjoyed your music and your firm stand on following God in terms of the relationship He has for you. I married my first boyfriend and also waited. There's a lot of physical and especially psychological things that come with a short courtship and waiting for marriage. People need to speak MUCH more about that not and normalise THAT and not pretend it isn't a HUGE deal. I've been married a year and a half and I'm not even sure the impact of waiting 29 years to be intimate with someone will ever leave me. I'm glad I waited for him and didn't expect marriage to be perfect but part of me feels that waiting, I always thought it could only have positives but being on your own for 30 years and not being intimate with someone else, I think (for both of us), it's taken away from (damaged) parts of our marriage. I saw so many videos in the US with people talking like Jamie about not wanting to date etc and I aspired for the same kind of life because I shared the same principles and views but I can't help but feel that as well as the benefits, waiting also created damage that is long term. I saw some people talking about this online and thought that wouldn't be me but here I am. That's not to say more healing and growth won't happen with time but I just want people to be HONEST with the men and women who are also waiting that negatives come with the positives that might last longer than you think.

Abstinence until marriage vs Delay marriage until financial stability? He's been dating the same girl for 1.5hr and now that they are both out of HS and spending a lot of time together (I have less control over where they go cause they are grown.... Kinda). My husband and I (after 13 yrs I still love that phrase😇) want to advise biblically. So which should he be waiting for if he feels this is the person he wants to marry? Oh and purple is da bomb💣 we've had ours for nearly a year, and I got the pillow as a Christmas gift.
