- My video of the NSRA Nats East in York Pa. 5-30-12 thru 6-3-12. Sorry for the wind noise in some of it, I'm just an ameteur with a Flip camera. The first 27+ minutes are at the host hotel on Thursday. The rest was Fri. and Sat. at the fairgrounds.

In the 50's and 60's before mankind could see in colour, before the Internet. Americas Rodder' Lexicons were Rod&Custom/Kart and Hot Rod. I love the way you can get Hot Rods and even the Rat Rods on long Tours with minimal breakdown. The look is still there. The originals are always en vogue.

The best video I've seen yet! Sometimes the cars are in such bad shape from rust there's no use in going back original they was all incredible cars great job on the video

I just use a little Flip Ultra HD camera. I hold my arm rigid and turn at the waist. I make the video's using Windows Live Movie Maker which came on my laptop. I try and delete the clips as I'm filming. If I think I screwed one up I look at it right then and delete it. I do very little editing when I get home. The one I just posted from Back to the Fifties I just ran it without even reviewing it, it was too long and I was exhausted from driving 1500 miles home. Hope you enjoy them.

Its a great shame how you Americans can take what was a lovely design car and spoil it by turning it into a hot rod. For me its better to keep them in a lovely and original condition.
+geoff I don't think you understand. I have never met the owner of a hot rod who destroyed a classic car. Most of the cars shown started off as nearly unsalvageable wrecks, rust outs, perhaps left abandoned for years. These cars have been saved from the crusher and junkyard and brought back to life with the investment of many years and dollars. Therefore, their new life becomes appreciated when the incredibly detailed workmanship comes out in a beautiful finished product. In many cases these cars are works of art reflecting the personality of their creator. These, once spoiled cars, are reborn into an image of what they can ultimately become. Geoff, perhaps you should visit a car show and really look at what it takes to build one of these cars.
