Hi sammie, great vid as ever. I currently save 350£ a month via 2 regular savings accounts. 20% of salary to pension(good employer scheme) and aim to invest at least 500/month on quality stocks/etfs. 5k left on the mortgage (have overpaid 67k over the years). Paying yourself first is the must do for wealth creation in my opinion.
@ cheers. 3 years ago we owed 43k on the mortgage, my pension was 21k and had no stocks isa. Now, 5k mortgage, 81k in the pension and 35.5k in the t212 isa. I only earn 30k a year so if do it so can anyone!
I put £500 into a SIPP the moment I get paid. No ifs no buts ! I even tell everyone (as a joke that didn’t go down too well.) if my family were starving, and needed money, I feed my SIPP first. I’ve realised now that my lifestyle is exactly the same with £500 less
