Those back tires are Cheng Shin "Lumberjacks" good tire in the day still one of the cheapest and best wearing tires out there. I have them on my 87. Just ordered some Executioners to replace them for the mud

I’m in the process of building my 2000 fourtrax 300 and I just wanted to know what the longevity of the torq locker is and if your still running them? For like 400$ I still wanna be able to use the machine for around the farm and in the woods and not just in the swamps
The torque locker is excellent it will last forever
How did you do the snorkel?
The front shocks does it have to use from the same year Honda rancher....and what do you do to the rear to lift it..
You seem to have a lot of the 424 kits for your fourtraxs. I have an 1988 fourtrax 4x4. Anyway you could hook me up with one of those. I will pay more than they are worth.
Yeah the first gen 424s are harder to find and more expensive than the second gens.
Your best bet is to find Jean-clay from Louisiana on Facebook. He has to fabricate a 2nd gen 424 to make it work for the 88-03s. I hear the cost like 4-500$ maybe more

I love my 300 it's my back up bike but have to change diff fluids after every ride. Seems like first second hole i hit i get water in diff. Really don't want to grease the rear.

I didn’t but I’m having problems and I don’t know if that’s the problem

Might as well plug it though. If you move it up higher than the carb it's no longer an overflow

What exactly do you need to do with the carb. I know the vent tube should be good
@@kmorrow9638 carb vent ran up, carb overflow we usually put a couple one-way valves on it, make sure carb has no leaks in the intake boot and goin to the airbox. Check airbox for any small holes, check the seal for the lid for air box, dielectric grease spark plug, and other electrical components
