Yes, assignments are harder especially with plagiarism checkers in place too. But I would recommend people to try universities first because after your master you will definitely get paid more and recognized by companies. Just my personal opinion. My friend is studying in lambton college computer science and he has got 5-6 subjects every term i.e. total 20-24 courses. In my masters program, I had to study only 10 courses. Regarding homework, I feel both college and university has their own difficulties.
