She has changed my world.🥰 My wife and I had the honour to be there and meet her (and her wonderful family) afterwards. I have never been to a better concert and I am 71. Life will never be the same. I hope they soon will show you the 2 duets she sang that evening with Martha.

Wonderful reaction to this briiliant perfomance. I smiled at your reaction to Lucy's British accent. However if you were to do a reaction to her rendition of "Run to You" which in itself a great version of a Whitney Houston song but let the video run on a little, you will hear her speak a litte longer. It's fascinating to observe that her speaking voice is so much softer and lighter.

The vocal quality is beyond outstanding and what a stage presence Lucy has but in addition, Lucy has the credibility as a person to sell the message of this magnificent anthem for today’s world to hear. Lucy is a real, genuine, sincere, lovely young woman with a heart of gold who cares about people. The world will benefit from listening to her sing this song and many others. Audiences who are able to go to Rosie the musical will be blessed to witness the work of two greats, Lucy, a great singer and Chris Broom a great composer and musician.
Lucy proves here that she is just as amazing "live" as she is in a recording studio. I honestly believe this young lady and her sister Martha are both very special. I understand her next solo concert is going to be in Tokyo Japan, hopefully we'll be able to see songs from that also.
Her British accent is lovely, like everything about her.

Got to add a correction, this was Lucy's first COMMERCIAL concert, BUT she has done PRIVATE and charity, concerts before, She did the Bests in Texas, she has done 2 charity event in England for a radio station and remember she did the UK Kids in 2018, she also has done a lot of busking for charity, so she is no stranger to audiences. Thanks for the react, It is interesting to note the way Lucy dresses, she is a professional, the way singers use to dress on stage 60 years ago, a nice formal dress or pants suit, all modest, her boobs not hanging out or 1/2 naked to her butt the way so many "big successful entertainers" now days dress or I should say undress and parade around on stage as we see so much of today, all done usually because they cant really sing and use it as a distraction, Lucy can flat out sing, she does NOT need any distraction. We are told she dedicated the song 1000 years to her sister Martha with a slide show on the huge screen and Martha joined her for 2 songs WHAT A WONDERFUL WORLD and THE PRAYER all to a standing O,we are waiting for those video's. Martha has grown up she is no longer the "little" sister, she is as tall as lucy and has become a very beautiful young woman at over 14 years old. You can hear lucy talk when she did an interview with the Irish radio station right after the UK Kids, she does a lot of talking and then sang the song NEVER, its on you tube, Lucy also talks after one of her video recordings.i'll have to look up the name as it slips my old memory,( the song is RUN TO YOU, and when she finishes the song and her big smile wait a second as she comes back with a message and we hear her British accent) and she also talks when she does a charity show for the Calon radio. Just to add to my previous comment, she's actually wearing clothes, unlike most of her pop singer counterparts. Lucy doesn't need any distractions from her obvious talent. No half naked dancers in the background. This stage appearance was just like her videos ----just Lucy and a backdrop and her incredible voice.

I was there with my husband traveled from TX to Manchester to support her debut concert. From note one to the last note of the encore she was better than her studio recordings. WOW! She exudes every bit of what this song means. We are hearing an angel walking on this earth. Thank you for writing such an incredible song Chris Broom! Will be at as many of her concerts as possible and looking forward to the play 'Rosie' next year.

Just to be accurate, this is by no means Lucy’s first live performance. She has done television appearances, charity events, and more for years. The Manchester concert was her first solo appearance at a major venue. A big deal, but certainly not her first time singing for an audience.
Absolutely correct she has performed live a few times, but only the T.V. appearance on ,I think it was Good Morning Ireland when she was 15 she sang Never Enough, even then it was better than the original, it also was the first time that she had a good audio system while singing live
True, but psychological, this was her official career launch, and people (fans) in the audience traveled great distances and other countries.
She is a natural on stage, but she felt a bit of nerves at the start of this one.
That’s correct Randy. Lucy is no stranger to an audience. Multiple starring roles in school plays and amateur dramatics can be added to the list of live performances. Of course, what sets this one apart is that it was her first solo professional public concert, effectively the launch of her live performance career., and what a great job she did. We will remember Stoller Hall as the beginning.

She earned the Rosie musical contract and the record contract when she was 13 years old, auditioning at Cavendish Records (= Chris Broom) singing "One Day" from the musical Rosie. Listen to it and you know why!

Detail: Lucy will never sing this particular song in the musical because due to the delay COVID + aftermath brought she meanwhile is too old to play the young Rosie part herself. The rest of Rosie she will, ending with the one you are currently reacting to.

Hello Psi & Bella , thank you for keep reacting to Lucy, this concert will be the making of her, now that she has proved she can handle the big stage, her voice is just amazing live or in a studio, I can't tell the difference. She is in Dallas with her sister her mum & the piano player at the moment she is appearing in a charity concert in the USA, this will be the second concert in Dallas in just a few months. Then Toyko in September for another concert. Take care, Barbara.
P & B, this is an amazing performance. This is the closing song of "Rosie" and it shows. The last words being so emphasized and climactic sounding I would expect the curtain to drop after this piece at the end of the show.
