Those aren't cheap. They have more rights to block the streets creating serious safety hazards while also creating serious health hazards with hygiene and human waste.

    I'm all about helping the homeless, but every major city seems to be playing the game of "kick them out, use tax dollars to throw away all their garbage, wait until they setup camp in a new place, rinse repeat If I was the building owner I would fix the fence, rope it off for "construction", then setup a fire sprinkler system down there with flashing lights hooked up to motion detectors. Make it so miserable nobody will want to live down there.

A LOT of SF homes have iron gates in the entry way to their homes precisely to keep people out of them.

I mean Jesus your people if you have compassion for people like that, you are part of the problem.

    • @hrimgor
      @hrimgor ปีที่แล้ว

      Compassion itself isn't the problem, it's allowing compassion to turn you into a doormat. Realistic compassion is setting hard boundaries and not allowing drug addicts and those with mental illnesses to dictate life for everyone around them. Give them a path out, if they won't take it then they deal with the consequences.
