600 Pound Male Lion in the MGM Lion Habitat

Amazing Lion habitat at the MGM Grand hotel/casino. There's a tunnel you can walk through and the Lion's sit right on top of the enclosure. The video and pictures really don't do justice how massive these Lions are. The hands are easily as big as my head and the muscles on the arms and shoulders are jaw dropping. It's quite a site to see an adult Alpha Male Lion in person

Wow, you're lucky. I was there a few days ago, they only had two small cubs, very cute and cuddly though. Are you aware that they're going to close the habitat permanently after Jan. 31, 2012? What a shame.
