I live in CR and enjoy it. A couple of points. There is no Crystal River State Park. There is a Crystal River Archaeological State Park that is more land based. The footage diving with manatees is in Hunter Springs in CR. The Blue Grotto and Devil’s Den are about 35 miles north of Crystal River. Just some info for people that may see this and have a hard time finding the dive sites.
There is also crystal river preserve state park which is next to the archeological state park and is filled with amazing walking trails. Next to devils den is Cedar pake woods and gardens which is a beautiful botanical garden. I honestly think citrus, Marion, and levy County are a better places to vist then orlando. There is so many things to do and so much exploration that can be done. I love living here.
