Friends with Fins and Jaclyn Friedlander visit Crystal River Florida to tour the construction site of the Kings Bay Restoration project and learn how to plant eel grass or rock star eel grass. After an underwater planting adventure she shares her Friends with Fins books with the students at Crystal River Primary school.

Hi @Captain Joshua! What a great question. The way I understand it, both eel grass and turtle grass are types of sea grass, however turtle grass grows in saltwater and eel grass grows in freshwater. Their scientific names are different (that's how you really know what species and/or plant family they are from) and then things like "turtle grass" "eel grass" etc. are either their common names or colloquialisms.
