So I sold a knife on knife_swap to this unknown guy. When I get his address, I asked if he just wanted to meet up and I'd pass the knife to him. Same county. I've met him a few times since, mostly at Blade. Found out when returning the Swordfin to him, that he lives a few hundred yards from my mother-in-law :) Small world.

I was browsing CL one day and saw a Spyderco Mamba for sale. When I was on the way to pick it up, I was watching reviews of it here on YT.
The guy ended up being a TH-camr with a huge (only tangentially knife related) channel, and I was watching his video on the Mamba when I pulled into the meeting spot. When he told me his channel name, I pulled my phone out of my pocket and showed him the video was in the middle of playing.
Edit: even more surprising, though, was that it was a legit Mamba
