My standard drivers license will expire in 2028. Since the real ID gets into effect May 2025 do I need to renew before May 2025 or can I upgrade in 2028 when it does expires?
@@samiam1509 If you have a passport, I wouldn’t even bother. Why pay extra when you can fly with your passport. But, if you don’t have a passport and not planning on flying between now and 2028, then wait until you renew your license. I hope that make sense for you.
I think depends which state you’re living some state law enforcements can check you any where anytime.i know AZ for sure they can check you without you do nothing wrong.
No state or city cops should be asking for your citizenship or birth certificate during a traffic stop. That is not their job. That is a job of a federal government. As such, you shouldn’t provide anything things other than your driver license, insurance, and your title. Please don’t confuse your audience with local laws vs federal laws. Please exercise your right as a citizens.

It depends what State you live in. They did in California number one. Big companies affected too H1B office workers
in Australia they use USI if you in camra they know who you are / thank
