- I have come to an amicable agreement to end my partnership with Cabrinha.
The separation follows a fruitful period marked by remarkable achievements and well-deserved recognition.
This challenging decision underscores the understanding that not every partnership is perfectly matched, and sometimes a brands objective may not completely align with ambitious personal expectations.
We'll maintain a positive relationship and we'll continue to support each other's endeavors, rejoicing in our shared accomplishments along the way.

Wow what a shockwave that you will be leaving so abruptly, I felt like cabrinha was building a solid team. I wonder if this has to do with the bar malfunctioning?

@@johnble1082 At Lords of Tram, Lorenzo's safety system (accidently) ejected mid-trick. He was fine but it made a few people loose trust in the predictability of the gear. Riders need to have full confidence in their gear.
Was it really that much of a shock though? From what I've seen, Lorenzo's been using small Drifter kites for big air and not the Nitro or Moto. AND also the fact that he joined just after winning KOTA on (apparently) way less than he should have been. Colin and Adrian thought he would leave after LOT and the bar issues; after the triple though, I thought everything was settling down a bit...
BAKL Hood River is going to be interesting though, maybe a new sponsor?

@@maeve.bennettt Cant say anything, but yes it has to do with the bar/safety system.
@@Ryy22 I've heard they were putting Cabrinha under pressure for quickly produced prototypes. He did the triple loop though, which could mean he fully trusted the QR; it is quite a risky trick.
@@giorgio4660 Rumours, rumours; ducktape and spraypaint. Never actually see the Duotone bar colours during comp for him though.

Interesting, that nitro seemed to jump high enough to me. Landed triple also.
Guess there is better out there and with those skills and options to change why not.

The Nitro didn't land the triple, it was the wave riding kite called the Drifter. Also, Lorenzo probably won't go back to Duotone, he left them just after LOTA last year.
Boys gota earn a living, goes where the cash is. Kites a kite. Give him a plastic bag and he will jump higher than most of us.
