    My favorite stat in all of sports is, that if Wayne Gretzky never scored a goal, he'd still be first all-time in points.

    The point gap between Gretzky and 2nd place (Jagr) is bigger than the point gap between 2nd place Jagr and 100th place. I didn’t believe it until I looked it up. Insane.

    Gretzky doesn't get talked about enough. He needs a great documentary made like Jordans last dance.
    What he did all time is amazing, what he did relative to his peers is insanity.
    Averaging almost 2pts a game for a career is ridiculous.
    Can say alot of the same for Mario, whose story is maybe more of a rollercoaster. Unbelievable!

    • @jimywho1original
      @jimywho1original 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Gretz is too much of a good dude for that, he's down to earth and doesn't have an ego that'll make a drama like last dance grip sports fans

    • @cjcj2940
      @cjcj2940 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@jimywho1original I don't think a Gretzky documentary needs any drama added. Just the story to be out there in a context that makes his production as a player understandable. From his days as a kid, all the attention, the expectations. The records coming up, WHA, then NHL, Edmonton then the trade... His impact in LA then his end in NYR also world championships, global impact as a star, his being benched at olympics etc... etc... Plenty of storyline to show.
