Nope. I'm running a 3 inch element and a Dropped style cleaner and it fits. K&N makes a 2 inch element to fit even better. Your going to love this kit....
As long as you set the shift points right and run a good tranny cooler like a B&M super cooler your good to go. The 2800 stall is very streetable. Yes it was a fresh short block. Until I installed the MT ET Street radials, anything from a stop would just burn the tires and hit the rev limiter. Even from a 10-15 mph roll, she still hazed the tires into 2nd. This kit is the best bang for the buck hands down...
burnzy7722 sounds damn good im stuck between sticking with the stockish 429 somebody stuffed into mine or building a 351 ik the edelbrock top end kit for the 429 will push it up towards 500 hp tho but id like to drive it alot more uk? any idea on the mileage youre 351 is getting?
Jake Norris the 351w came out last winter. I have upgraded to a fully forged full roller 408. on the bottle its est to be about 750+ crank hp. I know guys running the very same setup and they make close to 800hp.

Not yet. Had to swap the valve body on my c4. Did that today and all seems good. Tuning is next then the track :-)

Hey we have a 70 Fastback that were going to install the same kit in....did u have any clearance problems between the intake/carb and hood?

It was like $1800 at the time. It's been over a year. Edelbrock #2092. The car was running 12.17 with a 100 shot, 2400 stall, 3:55 rar.
