I keep wondering what would have happened if LoRa was invented before smartphones as we know them today were implemented.

oups, by thinking out of the box, what about frequency hopping? Regardless the allowed frequencies? This issue should be addressed at a later stage. Why, any cheap Russian disturbance transmitter can break the whole network. Just like blocking cars from locking at a parking space.... any ideas on that issue?

Your are Awesome and you spoke in a dimension that you feel that needs to be done and complex securities that needs analysis in spherical dimensions.
How Would that be rightly called Only you as Inventor without your Friend. We accept your contribution is also vast and wide, would be happy at least your friend who thought for LORA as base from Radars be in front of stage. We could have looked him to be happily there..
