I have to remind myself that I can handle downhill slopes when they sneak up on me. I totally get that moment of mild panic. My hat is off to you for skating on those cold days. I'd probably look like a snowman on wheels. Anything below 50° means I gotta have lots of layers.
LOL Thank you. Literally, my hat flew off on that day! When it's cold outside mentally it's more difficult to prepare yourself to skate. Like you said, you just need to have more layers of clothing on. At one point when I was going downhill the windy got into my contact lenses to a point I couldn't see so I had to closed my eyes for a second. That was a fun day skating. Sorry if I you mentioned this already, but what kind of skate model(s) do you own?
@CatzzSkatesFamily I use RB Zetrablades for indoors/rinks with 72mm wheels that are staggered with 85 & 95 hardness. For street skating, I have a pair of basic but functional Story brand skates with 110mm wheels. Both pair are pretty well worn. I'm planning to get a pair of quads and a pair with soul/wizard plates, so I can learn some new stuff.
Y’all had that Texas panhandle type wind that day 😂 the wind is double edge; very fun to go with but not fun to ride against lol Keep it up man!! 💪 Excellent video and enjoy cheat day! Bunn: both mountain and tree sound terrible on skates 😂 Big Mama: wife and I love new Korean BBQ restaurant here (all you can eat sushi and Korean bbq) 🎉 Thai food and fajitas/micheladas at the Mexican restaurant also staples 😎
Catzz Blox: LOL I'm sure you guys are used to those types of wind. That's a good point about it being a double edge sword. It could enhanced your skating ride or make it a nightmare! First, I want to say Thank You for answering the weird question Bunn asked. I didn't expect anyone to answer it nor make it that far into the video to hear the questions! You pretty much answered all or most of Bunn's questions (or any Catzz Skates Family questions) on all the videos. Big Mama and I love Korean BBQ too! (Not so much the Kids. They like kids friendly food like fries, nuggets, mac n cheese, etc) It's always a challenge for us to eat as a family. Sometimes, we'll end up doing multiple runs to make everyone happy. =) There's a good Korean BBQ restaurant about 15 minutes from our house. It's a bit pricey, but worth well the money! I will wait for Bunn and Big Mama to chime in. Bunn: I would rather pick a tree. Big Mama: We like to explore different food places on Fridays too.
Nice Mr C- just catching up with your NYC trip as well!
Thank you. NYC was so fun!

The best way to vo up hill is quick sprints while keeping your body low.
Thank you for the tip. I will try that next time going up hill.

Appreciate it! Do you skate too?
