      @@illusions4122 It's alright, I'm feeling positive-ish. Super countering is harder, combos don't seem to drop as much, or at all, perception has been slightly tweaked though not enough for it to not be spammed, the sweep reset has been mostly removed, it's a lot harder now but easier to super counter when you get the timing down.
      Patch overall is definitely a w, and a step in the right direction.

      Eh, I don't mind it looking like its own game because that's what it needs, I just want to buy games like when we was kids and not have a broken game on release lol.
      SZ in a few months time will definitely be at its peak.

    The patch is PEAK, but it's not there yet. It just needs more tweaking and then the game will be near-perfect.
    They need to touch:
    Whis's super not being punishable, defo a over-sight.
    Super Counter being able to be done while blocking, defo a oversight that I'm sure most don't know about but should be fixed
    Grabs being too easy to be teched, defo a oversight grabs were never this easy to tech in the older games for good reason.
    Perception needs to further touched, I think it should lock you in longer than it does currently. If they keep the ki cost as is + locking you in longer in the animation it'll be a perfect mechanic.
    Z-burst honestly needs to be based off of distance like it used to be, making it cost 1 or 2 universally causes a gameplay disconnect.
    Stock spiking when you're getting cooked needs to either toned down massively or removed altogether. Having it in the game shows how Tenkaichi games were never supposed to have player gain so much stock so quickly. No game should reward you for getting cooked this much, if I'm giving you hands you shouldn't gain 2-3 stock off it.
    Instant-Spark should take stock on activation or take longer to complete, someone shouldn't be able to hit me out of instant spark and then I can just pop it again.
    But overall it's a W patch.

      I agree with mostly everything here except for being able to super counter while blocking simply because it was doable in BT2, and BT3. It also is a pretty neat flex (in my opinion).

      Skill moves are comback mechanics it’s not rewarding them for getting beaten more so given them a chance to try and make a comeback as it’s supposed to be. The issue with skill moves and the points in this game is that the meter gain is way too fast they didn’t nerf hard enough and Z counter nerf for the meter was not enough

    They either need to make super counter cost some kind of resource, make it so that super countering in the middle of a vanish war doesn't reset vanish war, or make super counter work like bt2 and not send the foe flying/launched upon successful activation because they're still way too many damn vanish wars in this game which is a huge deterrence from us (V) wanting to play
    Make it even have it be so that like if you successfully super counter you enter a vanish war but if you are already in a Vanish war and you super counter it works like bt2 and breaks the Vanish war allowing for more back n forth footsies & combos again idk fukn SOMETHING
    They also still need to make vanish wars increase in speed much faster cuz they still go on way too long ESPECIALLY with super counters during them resetting them but honestly the biggest issue is just that they happen so damn often - RaSz

    If only people had the honor to play this straight laced. Forget SZ, most online games would be incredible if they did. But the "I gotta win or else I'm wasting my time" mentality is too prevalent.

      I tried even going to unranked quickplay to actually fight honorable matches with different characters as a Z rank since I was under the impression that's what it was for, yet people STILL play like a win is a win even though those matches dont matter towards anything. This community is truly lost.

    What’s your advice on super counter?

      There's a pattern during super countering; when your opponent is moving for the kick/punch, that's the usual timing for most connections in SZ, however here with Jun our connection was practically offline so the timing was exactly as he was to connect to me.
      I was pretty good at this in BT3 so that's helped me adjust here, just have to keep sharp.

    This game needs switch-in punishing, while it's a tactical retreat while low to recover hp it's still a huge BITCH move to not finish the 1s

    Decent patch, however still need better net coding and more freedom in movement, if they add those 2 I’ll be satisfied

      Overall yeah there isn’t enough to do in this game it sucks I was hoping this was going to be the greatest dragon ball game ever made. It’s up there and visually it’s the best but overall some games are better.

      It has 29099 more mechanics
