    Hi, beautiful video. How many days did you spend exploring these three destinations, would you think nara and koyasan could be done in a day?

    • @realescape
      @realescape  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you, glad you enjoyed it! We did 3 nights in Kanazawa, a half day in Nara, and 1 Night in Koyasan. Nara for sure can be done in a day, and Koyasan could be done in another. Both in 1 day together would be really tough and too rushed though.

      @@realescape I'm thinking now I'll do a half day/day trip to nara from kyoto, and then travel to koyasan from kyoto the next morning and I'd love to do a temple stay that night. Then finish my trip in osaka. Thank you so much for your help 🙂

    Can I ask a question? I have a trip planned to Japan later this year I have wanted to go since I was like 10 years old and I’m 35 now 😂 so I’m beyond excited. Have planned everything out. A saw a clock at the beginning that read 05:53, did you travel by train super early? Was just wondering cos I plan to get up early for most of the adventuring and just wanted to know how early trains ran from? Thank you! also incredible videos I just watched several on my lunch break. Subscribing!

      Of course! The clock was 5:53pm, but there are early morning trains, just not on all the lines usually. How early are you looking to start? The earliest we did was about 7am on most days. You can also double check their schedules online to be safe. Remember most people have to get to work early as well, so you should be fine, but research a bit on the specific lines. How long will you be there for and what areas are you hitting up? It sounds very exciting!

    not sure I could agree with Nara and Kanazawa or Koya-san being off the beaten path, they are well known spots

      That's okay! This was our first time in Japan and most of our friends probably only knew of Nara the most like us.

      It's off the beaten track in a way that you would actually travel outside Osaka. Nara is questionable as it's close proximity to Osaka but the other two. You'll go out your way to explore. As Osaka city has many to offer. We did everything in this video plus the previous video about 2-3 weeks ago in 10 days. Almost similar itenerary except instead of Nara it was Himeji, koyasan it was kumano kodo and Wakayama, Kanazawa with shirakagawa-go. Plus osaka, USJ and Kyoto. Overall great video. Would have loved to have 3 weeks to explore Kansai horikuku area. As to fully explore. Off the beaten track as you'll walk endlessly and go up stairs. Wake up early 5/6 am to get ready for travel to miss the peak hours and return by 8pm back to Osaka. As said in video highly recommend to stay a night to explore the these off the beaten track cities (Kanazawa and koyasan).
