This was very pleasant to watch, thanks Alice. Btw Indian isn't a language, that book would mostly likely have been translated from Hindi, although there are loads of languages spoken in India.
The second store looks amazing, I bet a lot of cool treasures. And also book smells. I love old and new book smells which is why I couldn't transition over to Kindle :/
I have the same tote bag 😬 I love Britt's little shop, she's an amazing artist! Also, great haul never heard of (almost) any of the books, but they all sound interesting 😁
I highly recommend visiting Sagene Bokhandel, it's one of my favourite bookshops in Oslo. Lucky Eddie in Trondheimsveien can be a treasure chest as well! By the way, Indian isn't a language. There are several Indian languages, like Hindi, Punjabi, Tamil, Benghali...
The second store looks so cool. I can easily spend few hours there. I read Man Tiger at the start of the month, and really liked it, and enjoyed it despite its heavy topics.
Hi "Alice in Wonderland", I just came here by accident, I was looking for books for non-native English speakers, and then I was watching a lot of your videos talking about books, of course, and I really really like this! Thanks for the tips and have a great year! Big hug from Brazil! PS - Do you have some video talking in your own language? I am curious...
I love seeing bookshops in other countries! Great haul! I enjoyed Halloween Party. It is great to read in the fall, which is also my favorite season. 💗📖📚🍁🍂
Thanks for the vid ! I want also do a tour of my favorite bookstores. The English section is unfortunately a lot smaller than yours (but maybe better for my wallet ?) I loved it and since I still want to visit Oslo, it was great ! I am actually reading (in French) David Diop's book (frère d'âme in French) who just won the Booker Prize. The English title is actually the last sentence of the third chapter. I haven't finished it yet so I won't talk about it. I love Poirot so I'd like to read that book too for Halloween
This winter I'm going to Sweden and Finland. Before I head down to The Netherlands, I want to stay overnight in Oslo. I love bookstores. I like to get the local national music and entertainment magazines. Is that gigantic bookstore close to Oslo Central Station?
Hola, como estas?, Los mejores y más cordiales Saludos desde puente piedra, lima, Perú, ojalá que puedas venir en algún momento a mi país y que disfrutes mucho de todo por aquí, con la familia y los amigos, felicidades por tus vídeos...
It's really, really hard! My top tips would be to literally schedule time in your day to read, turn off your phone/download one of those apps where you can't go on your phone for a while, bring a book everywhere. I think it's all about making reading a habit and a part of your everyday life, but it's difficult to not get distracted and I do too, all the time :)
"At night all the blood is black" won a Pulitzer and was on Obama's summer reading list. I'll definitely be reading it as well. Just wanting for the right mood to hit me when I'm prepared to read something that sounds disturbing and raw.
I love seeing bookshop tours. Especially if it's somewhere I still want to visit in the future.
Me too! :D
All those bookstores - so much fun!
Great haul, Alice! Thanks for bringing us along with your book shopping 💓💓
I'm glad you liked it! :D

Now I want to go bookshopping so bad! Haven‘t really been in a bookshop for so long 😕
I hope you get to go soon! :D
This was such a relaxing video to watch. I loved seeing the bookshops in Oslo! 🖤
Thank you! :D

I'm glad you liked it! :D
All blood is black just won the international booker prize so that might be why you saw it everywhere :-) nice vid, great to see Oslo!
Aaah, that makes sense! xD
This makes me want to go to Oslo even more haha! ❤
Thank you so very much for the bookshop tour! I feel lucky to live driving distance to one shop.
You're welcome! :D I'm super lucky to live only a short subway ride away from these
This was so fun! The second bookshop looks like one I used to work in- I love old bookstores like that! And nice haul!
Thank you! :D
Lovely! 🧡
Thank you, Alice! 😊

How fun! It's not far, about a ten minute stroll down the main street :D

Do you have any tips on how to stay consistent as a reader in a time filled with digital noise ?

My wallet is crying but now I want to go bookshopping sooooooo bad 😩

Hi how did I not know you have a beautiful and massive tattoo on your arm 😍
Would love to see a tattoo video someday.
