We just a few hours ago were watching a tourism show here in Korea. The host was in Czech Republic and I was able to point out and tell my husband all about how I already knew all these locations and their meanings through all the years watching Honest Guide. All except for one... the host visited a glass factory.. this exact same one!!! And now the one place they featured that I didn't know is here on your channel just a few hours later!! How amazing. 😄☆
If you decide to visit, do not make the mistake of staying only shortly. Prague is amazing, no doubt about that, but we have more to offer. Plus you asians need to let the Stockholm syndrom kick in to enjoy our heavy food coming in huge portions. Outdoor activity helps with that.
@@Pyrochemik007 definitely will bring kimchi with us when we travel. I hope that doesn't offend all the delicious Czech food. We will certainly enjoy all of that too ☆
@@FlameEmber Czech cuisine is known for very mild flavours, so it may in fact ruin it. While some complain that meat tastes just like meat, we would complain when meat doesnt taste like meat. The historical reason is we were far from seaports, so trade with spices was too expensive, plus our national cuisine is coming from common folk, thus expensive ingredients are not used, apart from local ones. As a sidedish we do eat fermented vegetable, the infamous saeurkraut, or sour pickled vegetable. Plus, as any slavic nation, we do have "kompot", conserved fruit in sweet water.
@@FlameEmber I forgot about this - restaurants do not allow people to bring their own food inside and eat it there. Not only it harms their profit, but also threatens their very existence since all food must be made according to strict EU hygiene standards.
Have you been to Ceska Kamenice / Decin? This is the town where my ancestor was born and lived until 1905 when he immigrated to Brazil. I have his diploma from a technical school, where he graduated as "Crystal Engraver".
Tricity is beautiful and with some records holding, too. Plus it inspired not only other famouse youtubers to include you (like the longest blocks of flats etc), but also the Witcher 3 and it´s city of Novigrad has some Gdansk Unesco heritage built in just for the fun of it. And your country has the biggest statue of Christ (bigger than Rio) and closest dune sea to Czech Republic, so definitely a reason to visit each other a lot :)
I visited last October some places in the Liberec region : the city of Turnov and the castles of Rotstejn and Valdstejn, where I saw the most beautiful forest in my life. Wonderful places and memories !
I fear I will repeat myself - you guys are amazing. I love how you show your country with pride and such passion. The Czech Republic is a beautiful country. I'd love to see Telč (city of European Rubies), or a castle tour (there are so many gorgeous castles) and finally - please even more on travelling the CZ by train (you have suggested so many great cities that can be easily reched by train from Prague or Vienna - what would be the ultimate train trip weekend) Stay safe and healthy! :-)

Would LOVE to see more videos of the surrounding areas, especially nature. Our first visit to Czech took us directly to Brno, Czech and being US citizens, we rented a car. Our guide STRONGLY suggested against it. Pshaw! We went to the forest at the height of the berry picking season. It was SO worth it!

I made a similar trip, starting from Harrachov, walking along the river (I think the Elbe/Labe?), seeing numerous waterfalls. When I top to the top of the ledge, I could see Snezka in the distance, so I went there. It was one of my favorite hikes during my 5 years in the Czech Republic.

I love hiking in the Czech Republic and I would love to see you create more videos of hidden treasures of the Czech Republic. I would love to see a Christmas markets video, where you recommend where to go and what to buy at each Prague Christmas market that is unique or made by smaller locally owned retailers.
The most popular places in nature are usually accesible to some degree but those less visited ones would be very difficult with any standard wheelchair. Bring a few strong friends if you're adventurous. I'Ve helped to carry some of my friend to some riddiculous places. I still remember my disabled friend uttering a smashing one liner some 30m above the ground: "I'm less afraid of fall than you are. It'd be difficult to get any more crippled." :-D Most points of interest inside towns are quite decent but places like belltowers and castles are rarely easy. Most places try to accomodate handicapped people to some degree but not all routes would be accesible.

@honestguide: you should do a circle around the whole country, since youre in liberec atm in this video, explore it more, big cities liberec, jablonec etc. then move to another part of the country and do the same.
I have been some times in Czech Republic and I just love it. Cities, food (beer mostly, of course), nature and people are awesome. I wish I could permanently live there. Your videos are mean! They are so nice that they just make everything more difficult to deal with! Damn it!
You CAN live permanently here. You just need to pass a simple test of czech language after living here 5 or 10 years. And if you are EU citizen, you can move here anytime.

I have been to Rokytnice nad Jizerou some 10 years ago for a school trip, but I was only about 14ish years old so I didn't really care for the place and I had no interest in skying either (which was why we went there). I do remember the surrounding nature being very beautiful though! Maybe I should actually go check it out again! Aaaah the Krknose region love it there. Been there several times. Love the town of Vrchlabi and I have seen Harrachov too although it's quite touristic in the season. You should show Adrspach. It's landscape is the best. But you should take good weather with you so show the beautiful blue lake there.

Try to visit Šumava (mountain range in south), there is a spruce primeval forest called Žofínský prales, at mountain of Boubín.

I have been to Rokytnice nad Jizerou some 10 years ago for a school trip, but I was only about 14ish years old so I didn't really care for the place and I had no interest in skying either (which was why we went there). I do remember the surrounding nature being very beautiful though! Maybe I should actually go check it out again!

Aaaah the Krknose region love it there. Been there several times. Love the town of Vrchlabi and I have seen Harrachov too although it's quite touristic in the season. You should show Adrspach. It's landscape is the best. But you should take good weather with you so show the beautiful blue lake there.
