I'm not really an environmentalist but I was a Tree Planter in B.C. and Alberta in Canada for 4 seasons planting up to 2.000 trees a day so I guess I've sort of got some bragging rights here ? I didn't have my van then so I just lived in a tent at the planter camp . Wow , what an experience that was . Some planters made up to $600 a day , called High Ballers . I only averaged about $150 a day , to give you an idea .

@@spanishafterhours Were you a tree planter ? or do you just know people who have done it--there were a lot of University people doing it to pay for their education ! It was a lot of fun ! I kind of meant environmental bragging rights because of all the trees I replaced for the ones they cut down , even though I just did it for the money , and the fun !

What do you mean level? She is a native speaker, speaks perfect Spanish, same as you with whatever your native language

Laura I have been watching your videos for over a year. I began to learn Spanish when I retired 7 years ago. I did take Spanish in high school.
You have talked about writing a book. There was a writer William Saroyan. He died a long time ago. He said the way to write was to buy a typewrite and write stories as fast as you can. I hope you aren't offended by my advise. I enjoy your videos. It is hard to find spanish conversation that is not too fast and is interesting.

IMPRESIONANTE! Me encanta la idea y la tienda, yo también habría estado mucho tiempo viendo cada rincón de la misma. Deberían haber varias tiendas de este tipo en cada barrio. Es importante reciclar y reutilizar y aprender y enseñar la importancia de hacerlo. Tendíamos un mundo más sostenible y mejor. GRACIAS x el fantástico vídeo y la detallada explicación. Es una lástima que no tengas YA miles y miles de visitas a este vídeo porque es de los mejores en contenido y vocabulario. Al tiempo la enseñanza más importante para nuestro planeta y futuro que es el ser consciente que hay que RECICLAR, REUSAR, RUTILIZAR, etc. Buen trabajo!

Gracias por este vídeo. Lo he visto dos veces para captar nuevas palabras. Es un tema muy interesante. También me gustaría que los fabricantes originales de estos productos utilizaran más botellas de vidrio y que se pudieran volver a utilizar otros materiales en lugar del plástico.

@@spanishafterhours Sí, los me gustan tb porque seducen para comprar alimentos básicos como frutas, vegetales nuezes y otros en vez de alimentos procesados. Aunque a veces las cosas parecen mas susceptibleso a polillas alimentaria o el sabor es peor porque para algunas cosas es mejor si se empacado impermeable al aire. Creo que España aprobó una ley que se supone que debe reducir empacados para alimentos y creo que la transición hay que suceder este año. No lo sé exactamente pero si habrá cambios en los grandes supermercados eso tendría un impacto muy positivo.

Espero que un día, los Estados Unidos toman esta idea más en serio. Hay servicios para reciclaje ♻️ pero no bastantes. Me caer bien la idea de reciclar.

Gracias Laura por este vídeo. Muy interesante. Llevo muchos años usando jabón de Marsella para lavar los platos. Funciona muy bien. Y además ya no uso esponjas desechables. Por limpiar mi piel uso algodones lavables ...etc... Cada quien puede actuar para reducir los residuos.

I had no idea what you were saying when I started studying Spanish in Feb this year.
I understand you speak slowly and use basic Spanish for us to understand even when you fully speak in Spanish but now I understand 80% of Spanish you speak in your video. I love the power of patience when it comes to learning a new language.
