Lifelong Cubs Fan Here.... we know all too well how SWEET it felt to FINALLY have that long wait come to an end, and your organization absolutely deserves this! Bochy is a PHENOMENAL manager, and of course Chapman helped you out as well ;) CONGRATS RANGERS!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks! Yup, Cubs finally broke their curse in 2016. Good WS. Chapman scares me but he came thru clutch at times for our Rangers lol! Hes a little wild but strong pitcher! We dont have to hear about 2011 anymore. That one still hurts. The pain has been erased last night.
I keep breaking out into tears. I have also been a rangers fan my whole life. 4 yrs old 🥲 this was beautiful. This was earned. Thank you Chris Young, bochy, and my boys for believing and never ever giving up. You make us so proud. You have unlocked a core memory for me.
Overthrow the losing years and say is, "Welcome to suburban Dallas, World 🌎 Series." Like singer Loverboy would say, "This will be the year, a year to remember. We'll make it last forever." Go Rangers!
If only Beltre, Andrus, Hamilton and Fielder were still on the team...greats who played so well for Texas, we got so close with them, we just couldn't get it done.
In regards to the Texas Rangers winning the World 🌎 Series in the Fall of 2024, they have got heavy competition with the Seattle Mariners. At least the Texas Rangers time ⏲️ was due.
I watched The Texas Rangers with my grandparents when I was a child in the 70s. We watched every night on channel 11 as the Rangers built a team and my Pawpaw fell asleep in his chair religiously at 9:00 pm. Some games took me over bedtime, but Granny would allow it. Game after game, year after year, the Rangers were our nightly routine. I grew up, graduated high school and college, but the nightly routine of Ranger Watching with my family never changed. A new ballpark opened in Arlington and my grandparents gave me a graduation gift of season tickets in the outfield. Marriage, children, and I moved away from home. But, my grandparents remained the constant, nightly Texas Rangers games. We lost Pawpaw first, then Granny. Later, my dad died. Through the years, the Texas Ranger games stayed a nightly family tradition. Then, as I was in California (1800 miles away from home and family), the Rangers made their first World Series. Then, another one. But, no title. =-( I started to get gray hair. Years later, I moved home to Texas and now there was another stadium nearby in Arlington, the Cowboys had moved in. Working in Arlington, I would drive my truck by the stadiums, seeing the beauty of the new Arlington sports campuses. But, the child inside always remembered the old Rangers Stadium, along with my favorites Boo-Shelle and Pudge, and Nolan Ryan. They taught me how to be a man. Now, we have a title, and a 3rd stadium. I watched the last outs and thought of Granny and Pawpaw and Dad in Heaven, hoping they were as happy as I am. 53 years of Ranger Tears have grown within my eyes. Tonight, they were released. I'm too much of a man to cry forever, but tonight, I cry for all of us. =-)
yay!!! A bunch of rich athletes with zero loyalty to the city and only playing for the highest bidder won a baseball game! We're so proud! Man...I just don't get the love of pro sports. It's clearly me considering how many find some odd sense of pride when other people accomplish something.

Holy cow, that was like a home game! Thank you, Texas-residents fans. Love, from a Rangers fan living outside of Texas.
I know how they feel. My Atlanta Braves won in 2021. Congratulations to the Texas Rangers 🎉🎉

You poor Yankees fan. You can’t buy your titles anymore 😢
@gmoney
Wanna bet? With an improved bullpen they'll be back.
