Dash Mini Griddle Brownies

This video was done as an experiment to see which Dash Mini would cook the best brownie made from a mix. Truth is, it turned out MUCH better than I thought it would. The end results were very good, with the DASH GRIDDLE taking the prize for the best brownie. Very tasty!!
The Dash Mini grills come in several different types. In this video, I used three (Waffle, Grill and Griddle). All have their strengths and various uses. DIRECTIONS:
I used a boxed brownie mix from Dollar Tree. Mix up the batter exactly per the box instructions. Set aside. Plug in the Dash Mini and let preheat. The blue pilot light on the lid will come on when you plug it in and will go out once it is fully preheated. Once preheated, open the Dash and spray both plates lightly with non-stick cooking spray. Then, add a heaping tablespoon full of batter and close the grill. Allow the brownie to cook for 5 minutes, open and remove to a small plate with a small spatula. After cooling for several minutes, top with a scoop of ice cream and enjoy!!!

It does matter what spray you use. Dash recommends against sprays with lecithin in it, I believe yours has it. After time, it can gum up the nonstick surface.

I have not had a build up problem at all, and I use the Dash cookers a lot. I don't always use non stick spray, but have had 0 problems with it. Thanks for the question.
