Kayak trout fishing with my daughter on Martha Lake

Spent another morning with my daughter on Martha Lake fishing for tagged Rainbow Trout. We got a few and lost a couple. Overall, it was a great time and memory-making opportunity. I encourage everyone to take every opportunity to bring their kids along and familiarize them with fishing. They may get bored at times, but it makes meaningful memories lasting forever.

Awe, what a great, sweet video…brought me back to the days when I took my little girls fishing.
I fished Martha many times but never in the fall. In the spring I always had great luck flatlining a black Pistol Pete with a small split-shot a few feet ahead of the fly.

In my neck of the woods! I just got an OT Sportsman 120pdl last week and was thinking about trying that lake or Ballinger. So excited to try kayak fishing!

Went there a couple of months. Just snagged the bottom and lost my dodger. But it seems there is fish in the lake
