I love how dark and gritty this game was and the horror elements in the campaign.
There's something special about the way gears 1 did blood and gore. getting a gnasher kill never felt as satisfying in the later games as it did in the first one.
Idk man gears 2 did all that and better

Absolutely, that feeling is due to G1 physics
Gears 1 360 will always be a masterpiece. We need to go back to the darker, grittier side of Gears with that heavy feel.
In Gears of War 1 it felt like their limbs were being torn off by the shotgun where as in the later games their entire body just exploded. I still remember one time I killed a guy at the top of the stairs in mansion and his body rolled all the way down...but both of his legs from the knees down were still upright at the top of the stairs where he was standing when I killed him.

Escalation probably the worst map on GOW1 that and Rooftop
Negative. Rooftop was bad, but Escalation was one of the most popular maps in tournaments before you were born.
