It is giant night market with lots of street food, shopping & games to play
Lots of variety of street food to eat, many made fresh infront of you. They also have a Teppanyaki stall which is very tasty and one of the best one I ever had.

if you are interested, mochi is very easy to make. just glutinous rice flour and water and sugar (optional), microwave 30 seconds.
You also make way more in US than in TW so...
In US the only thing more overpriced than mochi is macaroon. Really don't understand why.

Brisdad53 well I am a Taiwanese and most of time we call that food ''dorayaki'' because it use two ''pancakes'' and put sauce between them it makes them dorayaki instead of pancakes

I love these street food vendors and their creativeness, I never been there but all of the food looks delicious. Strong admiration for those people and cannot believe how much food you get for so little price.

Your videos have inspired me to plan for a trip to Taiwan. Their street markets are so beautiful.
In England Dorayaki is simply called scotch pancakes and they are normally sold individually so you can select filling yourself. It's the one thing I've seen so far I definitely recognise and have eaten.
