Austin, you are always extremely well put together and you seem to have your head on right all the time bro, lol. Do you also have days where you don't feel 100% and it affects your mood? If so, how do you come back to a calm state of mind and maintain your composure? If not, what tips can you give to maintain a mindset that puts you in control instead of letting emotional factors drive your actions? Thanks man and great video as always!
Hey man! I appreciate the kind words and the support on the channel as always. I definitely have my off days and stressful situations like everyone else. I think something that keeps me grounded is my faith in God as a Christian. There are a lot of things out of my control and I think the way I separate that type of anxiety is just focusing on having a good attitude, giving my best effort, and then leaving the rest to God knowing that He has a plan for everything. Even when things go wrong or not the way I want it, I look to how I can grow and bounce back! Sometimes the biggest set backs have been the ones that have helped me progress the most in life and in my education :) I hope this helps and keep up the strong work!! It’s totally normal to not feel 100% and feel free to reach out if you ever need anything 💯
Hi Austin! Love your videos! I was hoping you could provide some advice to me. So I watched your previous videos and you said that you graduated undergrad in 3 years, I am looking to do the same but I am struggling with how I will be able to get enough experience and activities for my application? Specifically leadership experience, any tips? Thanks!
Hey! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Great question - I would recommend getting involved early and taking advantage of your breaks as well as summers to get involved with interested projects, leadership positions, and unique volunteering experiences. I joined several clubs I was interested in as a 1st year in college and joined executive boards as a 2nd year and continued furthering my involvement. As for summers, I love to travel so I did a volunteer abroad trip in the favelas of Brazil for a month while also visiting friends and having a vacation there! Hope this helps and good luck!!!
@@AustinNguyenMD Thank you so much for your response! Do you have any tips for getting positions for clinical experience? I don’t know if I should get certain certifications because they take too long, so I was hoping you can give tips based on your clinical experiences?
