- We have sailed over 4000 nautical miles to reach the island paradise of Tahiti, and so far in our first week here, the island has not disappointed us one little bit!!
We decide to spend a week in a marina near downtown Tahiti so we could be free to explore all around town and even the whole island. There is so much to see and do here, and we do our best to exhaust ourselves walking, shopping, dining, hiking, sight seeing by car, etc!!

Paddle boarding is pretty good exercise. I do that, yoga, push ups, and I have a double end punching bag I set up under the companionway.

You should do some swimming each day for your exercise workout, when possible. 500-1500 meter swims, with Freestyle, breast stroke, back stroke, and Butterfly (if you can). It is one of those great exercises that works the whole body. Get some swim goggles. Ah to swim where you guys go, what a treat!

I bet someone could kayak that waterfall and possibly live. I'm not sure what the record is but I think it's over 120 ft. The ticket to exercise is that you need to do it at least 4 days a week so that when you do your hiking or biking, you don't feel out of shape. When you go 3 days a week, it's a bit hard to get into rhythm. 4 to 6 days and you feel like Superman. Take at least one day off so that your muscles have time to rest. I grew up in CB, CO.
Ya I guess it would depend on the depth of the pool at the bottom… also we LOVE CB, what a cool town!! Probably one of our favorites in CO, up there with Telluride, Steamboat, and of course Winter Park :)
@@WEsail What is the height of that waterfall? The only place I skied in CO was CB. I've driven through some of the other towns but never stopped to take in the beauty or check out the town. I'm going to build an aluminum catamaran like what Sailing Life on Jupiter has which is a Mumby Cyber 48 or the new catamaran that Peter of Sailing into Freedom is getting. I'm sick of land life and need to get back out on the water once again.

If you are talking about the eruption on Tonga last year, then yes we are kind of close to that, but it’s all settled down now mostly… thanks for the thought!!

What cool places you two get to go. I'm always curious. When you get those shots from your drone, do you have to get permission or have a license to fly it in these other countries? Also, flipflops on the slightly dangerous hike, nice choice...
Haha thanks!! No normally we can fly just about anywhere, some bigger cities (Paris and Mexico City for example) don’t allow drones, and anywhere near airports of course… amazingly, they won’t even take off, there is a Geo Grid set up my the city or airport that will not allow the drone to even fly!
Tahiti, could you get much more beautiful and romantic? The highlight for me on this video was, of course, your hike. Lovely beyond lovely. A true tropical jungle filled with all the magic a person could dream of. The waterfalls and the swimming, incredible. Never stop spoiling yourselfs.
